I didn’t file a return in 2020, because of unemployment woes in Florida, I filed 2020 the same day I filed 2021.
So the question is, on the advice of my accountant, I was told to NOT file a Injured Spouse form this year, he said to do so would push the return beyond May, which would make me vulnerable to offset, as always, I followed the accountant, and filed straight, but I DID have a tax credit for my youngest son, so my question is… Will that delay my refund?
