I had an adult son with a disability on my taxes for the past four years. He was never on SSI. According to the new stimulus I should actually get a stimulus pmt for him this time. My status on GMP has never changed from “ not available”.

I am growing very concerned at this point because we really need the money. I know people who could care less if they got it at all and they got it Day one?!?! It’s so frustrating that the neediest are still waiting.

No date yet. On GMP. Message of need more info or not eligible. I even used the non filer tool last year for the 1st 2020 stimulus. I’m concerned because the first part of that message is an indicator that they’ve tried to send the payment which is bs.

Been using the same DD and bank account for many years..yet Mine is being mailed on April 2nd lol. Even though my first 2 been DD prior. If thats “expeditious,” then damn..lol What a fiasco.

The vast majority of SSDI, SSI, veterans etc have not received stimulus yet. Social Security is just now 3/25 sending over recipients info to the IRS. If not for members of the Ways and Means Committee in Congress sending SA a demand letter after so many citizens complaints, who knows when they would have sent it to the IRS. Those payments or when they should be recieved should be announced shortly as Congress demanded they work expeditiously to get the payments out to about 30 million people.

Another non update on GMP. Seems those on SOCIAL SECURITY are being handled last.. We have many vets and disabled folks who are hurting the most, and for them to be handled like this is a travesty. Not even a date is being given. In my op., those on a fixed income should have been paid out first,not last. Not even sure we will get a payment at this point. I bet many will get left out and have to file for their payment come next tax season.SOMEONE Let us know if you see any movement.

Probably a dumb question…but is VA benefits for a slide of an army vet the same as veteran affairs benefits? My dad is deceased and my mom gets VA payments each month and she got her 3rd STIMULUS dd on 3/17 nd she hasn’t filed taxes in years

Still nothing, bank w Suntrust and received SSDI for 10 years so should not be a problem. I see people saying the 24 for recipients of SS benefits, but I have spent hours looking for proof of that date. About to be in a bad situation if it doesn’t hurry.
