I know we’re all a little frustrated, so here’s a place for us to get it off our chest! I’ll go first…

Im so annoyed with the IRS as I know the rest of you are! This is CRAZY! Why all the delays? Why are they being so secretive?! I’m mean it’s MY MONEY that I let you hold! WITHOUT INTEREST! Yet you can tell me when where who or what is going on with my account and when I will receive MY MONEY?! I mean the government had no problem taking money out of my check every other week, but when it comes to paying it back they want to drag their feet!

I understand going through the security checks and making sure they aren’t getting screwed over! I get it! But at least let us know WTF is going on with our account! Like having us speculate and wonder while anytime we try to call you tell us to “wait 21 days”! Why I got to wait when you can easily look it up! Just be HONEST with people! And they wonder why people don’t trust the government now!

It’s FEBRUARY! No one who file early January should STILL be waiting for their money! Ain’t that much processing in the world! They’re playing games with our money and they can get away with it because it’s the federal govt! I bet they wouldn’t like it of we owed them money and we told them wait 21 days cause I’m still processing your request for payment! This is BS! To those who have received DDDs and will be getting their money soon CONGRATS! To the rest of us still waiting feel free to vent here!

Okay, I understand that the Systems were shut down yesterday… I get it.. However, WTF does that have to do with the ones they already got??! People keep saying early filers but filing that Saturday after tax season is already open…. Isn’t early…. Shouldn’t they at least, get to those first?? not someone that filed on the 28th and they already have their money… This year makes no sense…

Maybe they will update throughout out the day… or maybe they will allow extra posting to get caught up… Most of us will be at our 21 day mark as of next week….

I guess I just got lucky with two nice reps. I hope that falls into place with me for my refund going in when it’s suppose to. And yes! Worst tax season I have ever experienced.

Interestingly enough Turbo Tax released news today that they will not be allowing e filing for the time being through them die to fraudulent returns filed through them in 18 states so if your return didn’t get accepted yet and you filed through them, it’s an even longer wait time.

I told the irs that they were idiots. They tell me sorry cant verify me . I had them read back my info three times then randomly told the agent im sorry it hasnt been 21 days yet. YOU SHOULD RECIEVE oh sorry my system is down try again later. They hung up on me geeez

I don’t know who you talked to that was polite, the person I got hung up on me all because I said they are reading from a script and it isn’t that they cant read our info its that they have been told not to. I find this entire tax season starting off very pathetic and have sympathy for them as they have an entire year to prepare for this.

I don’t believe the understaffed portion either as 90% of the work is done by a computer and we should not suffer due to the fact that the Federal government probably hired some third rate contractor to keep their systems up.

I told a rep on the phone today, You say you can give us not even the most basic of information for 21 days and yet you refer us to a system that has in accurate and incorrect information… I said as we speak the transcript page is reporting an error when we attempt to use it.

I think the truth is that they get really funny when we joe and jane citizen figure out workarounds to their systems and they change them to prevent us from finding our information.. What kind of pathetic shit is that. Just because we figured out that return transcript may or may not equal processing complete.

I recommend that the IRS get with dominoes pizza and get their pizza tracker as it really seems to be more accurate…. and if the reps are not gonna help people then send their butts home, why should be have to pay those salaries for them to be unhelpful to us taxpayers. I’m sure we all would agree we wouldn’t mind them going home and saving our tax dollars rather then them sitting their giving out useless script driven excuses.

I filed th 27th. In years past its NEVER taken this long to get just a DDD from them. Ive waited a week now with 1 bar while i see other that filed after me get a DDD. This is ludacrous

They know who we are. Too we had to create a pin # with the IRS at e filing for identity purposes and I do remember my identity was verified at the time of e filing 01/24/2016 and my return was accepted within an hour of filing with Turbo Tax.

I don’t know what they are doing but they obviously do not want us to know. And no it’s not a conspiracy theory, they seriously are up to something. I absolutely emphatically do not believe their systems are down like this almost every other day. Not the govt. just not possible! I’m sure their systems never go down when we owe them money. Too, they have no issue with deducting right away out of our paychecks. No systems down then. This is just way too convenient for them and extremely frustrating to myself and every one of you… They had a whole freaking year to prepare!!!!

Too, I find it oddly amusing how overly courteous the reps are. It’s….strange???

I’m with you about to lose it!! I’m trying to stay positive I just got off the phone with the Tax Product and the lady told me that the IRS is issuing a mass of deposits on the 5th!

Thats what im talking about. ID VERIFY, its crap. My dl, and accounts are verified thanks to the patriot act. THE irs knows who and where yu are. Correct me if im wrong but all employers are supposed to verify identity. So you can take my money weekly then extort me to get it back.
