Slow! Mailed return, bleh.

I had no choice but mail my return. I also had to wait until April 23rd for the IRS to make one of my forms available. Not wanting to get Covided, I didn’t get tracking on my return, but I added extra postage. It’s almost a month and the IRS hasn’t acknowledged my return. I know they say to wait at least a month, but last year I also had to send a mailed return and they acknowledged it in a couple of weeks. Should I worry? Or are they just super slow this year, given all the crap we’re enduring?

The IRS is not processing paper returns at all. There’s nobody to call. We just have to wait.

Does anyone have any updates on mail in returns? I mailed my 2018 in around the beginning of April and still nothing.. just wondering if anyone has seen any movement?

I mailed mine in April 14th from what i’m hearing they haven’t opened or processed mail returns due to covid. They are all just sitting in a storage bin. I’m guessing I won’t get my refund until around September
