So in addition to not getting an update with WMR and the IRS today, I am still processing with topic 152 and expected amount on the side. I got a letter today from the Pennsylvania Bereau of Individual Taxes, fraud investigation unit.

This has never happened in the 10 years of doing my taxes. I honestly cannot think of any good reason they needed me to ID Verify but one of the questions showed an address that belongs to my sister who knows my social. So I answered that I did not live there but now I am wondering if she screwed me using my name or something at that address.

Either way, if I got something from PA then I’m sure I will get something from the IRS who I will be calling Monday morning. I cannot understand why this letter was sent out on the 16th of February and it just got here today. It was sent from the same city I live in!!!

Really needed this money to fix my car issues and it’s so frustrating because I cannot seem to get any answers. I have to work 6 days a week and cannot afford to be sitting on the phone all morning or calling off work. Last year I lost almost all my money due to an offset and now this year a stupid ID verification.

@Amanda back in 2016 for a week she screwed up something and had the whole families mail forwarded to her address because she lived at our address. We ended up getting it fixed but yeah not sure how she did that.
