John, I called the US Treasury Office to verify I was issued a check on April 2nd. They confirmed it and said the mail is still behind because of covid.

I just don’t understand people live around me has already gotten their check and it was mailed out on April 2nd and I have not received mine as of yet but I have got letters from the IRS so I don’t understand what’s going on

IRS says the check was scheduled to be mailed out to my address on file. Today is April 10. No check so far. I don’t know who to believe. Someone is not telling the truth. It doesn’t take more than 9 days for a first class mail if it was mailed April 2. I am counting on that check.

Does anybody know if the “Where’s my payment” tool ever updates from “We scheduled your payment to be mailed on April 2, 2021 to the address we have on file for you” to something stating that it has actually been sent out and/or is in the mail/on its way?

I am in central Florida. “Where’s my payment” says my check payment is scheduled to be mailed on April 2nd. It has not arrived yet and the USPS informed delivery tool does not show it to be arriving today so far either. Although I do not think USPS has updated yet for today. Will post an update when something changes!

UPDATE…..

Had 3/26 mail date.

Mine took 8 mailing days to reach me in Florida, received it on Monday April 5th.

For some reason their taking alot longer to reach people this year.
