      So as soon as I filed through turbo tax I got an email from sbtpg about unusual activity on my account. Said it could be because an incorrect account number etc. And that I needed to verify my I’d. Wich I did.

      Well my stuff is correct ,already got my state refund so I know the account numbers are correct.

      I read online that someone else was finishing their return on TT and before they even submitted it they got the same email.

      Also it’s been over a week and I still haven’t got anything back about unlocking my account on sbtpg.

      Anyone else dealing with this ?

          @fe

          It is from their actual website. And yes sbtpg does contact via email. It’s all on turbo tax forums too.

            It’ sounds like a scam and you shouldn’t have sent any info to them. SBTG does not contact people through email and if there was a problem they would have informed the IRS and the IRS or the company you went through would have contacted you. Please be very careful because someone is trying to take your money. Do not call the number or anything included in the email, look sbtg number up on their website and call them regarding questions about your account. Also, put a security pin on your SSN if you provided them with all of your info because you’re definitely part of a scam.
