Hi Mary. I am in pretty much the same place you are with SBBT. I changed my routing number on the website in early February with the help of a rep who assured me I needed to do nothing further and that I was “all set” to receive my refund on my DDD of 2/18. No refund arrived so I waited until the 19th and when unable to retrieve my info from the website (same message every single time…Your RT info is not available…etc) I called the 877 number as per the message. I was told I needed to fax the Account Change form along with the items you mentioned in your post (STILL have no idea why the 1st rep did not tell me I needed this…it could have helped immensely and shaved a week off my wait). I faxed everything at 1 PM on Thursday the 19th and called SBBT to confirm the fax was received but was told that info was not yet available and to check the website. I reminded the rep that I JUST explained this all to, that I have never been able to log in and retrieve my information from the website. She suggested I call back today (Tuesday) to see if the fax was received if no refund was posted. I called this morning at 9 AM and was told my fax was rec’d 2 days ago (really…? 2 days after I sent it…and on a Sunday?) and that I should check the website for more updates…..after I explained to him AGAIN that I was calling because I was unable to access my account info from any computer, through any browser, he suggested I “wait and see”….. *sigh*
This whole experience has been an absolute nightmare. Like many Americans with large families, we rely on this refund to cover bigger expenses, such as car insurance which as of this morning, has been cancelled. I am just beside myself and have decided that after years and years of using Turbo Tax to file my returns, I’m going to explore other options from now on rather than take a chance of having to go through this again.
I will keep updating here as needed until my refund arrives, please continue to do the same. Best of luck and hang in there.

So I have this same thing going on with SBBT. I changed my routing info a couple weeks ago. So I called Friday morning and they told me I had to fax an official change form, copy of my ID, copy of my husband’s ID, copy of both our SS cards, and a direct deposit slip. I faxed it all in Friday night. So far none of it has been processed. I have a direct deposit date of Wednesday. They claim they will just hold my money until it’s all done if it hasn’t been done yet. I’m getting really agitated, though. I have already waited over a month for my income taxes. To have something like this hold me up is insane.
I myself will never be filing through turbo tax again. I will always be using a preparer at like Liberty starting next season. I have dealt with the IRS numerous times and many other things. Just NEVER again. Someone else can deal with this crap for me. I’ll just cash a check when it comes time from then on out.
Let me know how it goes and if you guys get your refunds.

Oh my goodness…I cannot believe they have been stringing you along for a month. Absolutely ridiculous. I ended up calling the number and was told that I needed to fax an account change form along with a boatload of other papers. When I asked why this form was not requested of me 2 weeks ago when I called to change my bank information the rep actually said “I have no idea”.
Call me crazy but don’t most companies train employees to…ya know…..have an idea about stuff that might come up?
Anyway….I was told the forms will take approximately 72 hours to review and enter into the system and to call back if I don’t see my refund by Wednesday. Good luck to you and I’m interested to know how your situation turns out so please update if/when you can.
Have a great weekend :D

LOL..no worries..dealing with the irs/ taxes does that to anyone.
Well I am in the boat with some ppl..I have been waiting for more than 1 month..(accepted 1/16 according to TT…) I actually have a tax advocate working on my case given the time and I was told that I have a hold on processing of my refund. Not one agent can give a clear answer as to why bu the general idea is identity fraud…never reported one. I actuall would pity someone who decided to take mine !!! hahaha
Anyway, I was thinking that the length of processing time for my return basically ‘timed out’ on SBTPG but I hoping that all is indeed well on SBTPG end as the agent did quote the numbers and other pertinent information for the refund i should be receiving.
My tax advocate told me 2-3 weeks (hopefully before) I will have my refund.

What a bonehead I am. I just realized you ARE the OP of this thread, Pikkin.
All this stress from waiting and worrying has finally gotten to me!So did your refund arrive? When was your DDD?
With a DDD of 2/18 having come and gone I am starting to lose hope and fear I will have to contact sbtpg and find out where my refund is and why I have not ever been able to access my account information on their website. SUCH a hassle.
Anyway…thanks again for the info and have a great day.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, Pikkin. Did you call as a result of receiving the same message as the OP and I?
“Your RT account information is not available through our website. For information regarding your account, please contact our customer support center at (877) 908-7228.”
Thank you again.

Hey there. I rec’d the same message and cannot find any definitive answers. Some suggest it is just a website glitch and others claim that when they called they ended up having to FAX a bunch of stuff to confirm their identity (Drivers License, SSN, etc).
I just want to check the status of my refund because the IRS site has had me stuck on the second bar for weeks now. I’m reluctant to call because I don’t want to trigger some red flag that will require me to FAX anything which might delay my refund further.
SO, I am anxiously awaiting replies to YOUR question in hopes that someone might respond who can tell us what the message means and whether or not we should worry.
Thanks!
