Does anyone know if SBTPG process refunds 24/7? Or overnight rather?
Mine was just posted on SBTPG website, took a few hours to send last year, but was earlier in the day.

My experience last year was yes, they do. My deposit last year hit my account in the middle of the night (somewhere after midnight and before 2 a.m. PST).

I also recall that I got my refund BEFORE SBTPG updated their site. Similar to my experience w/ WMR site. For example, my refund hit my account 01/30 at 6:30 p.m. PST and the site did not update until today that funds had been sent to my bank.

Also, last year I wasn’t blessed w/ being able to pay for my TurboTax fees up front, but was this year and believe that that made a tremendous difference in the speed. I filed w/ EIC and I got my funds already. Maybe next year, you’ll be able to pay for the fee up front (I’m so glad I did!!!!)

The info that SBTPG has is transmitted from your tax software the day you file, it has nothing to do with the IRS or WMR.

The only thing that SBTPG will show that has any relation to the IRS is when they receive your money.

So what does it mean if we can see our amount on sbtpg but still no update on WMR?

I just went to check the SBTPG website and when I enter my info it just keeps saying ‘one moment please’. Could it be updating?

@Aksha If you pay fees upfront then the IRS will deposit your refund to your bank, or however you chose to receive your refund.

@Sally It’ll probably show up in the next few days then. SBTPG seems to be slow this year, at least for me and from what I’ve read updates are taking awhile for some others.
Mine is still just showing Expected Amount. I’ll check again later this evening, it’s only 11:40AM right now where SBTPG is.

Yeah I have checked it, my information is correct. Last year it showed not even an hour later but this year it isnt up yet I thought it was strange.

Anyhow, it would be nice to see an update on SBTPG that they’ve received my refund. I’m guessing it won’t be til the day of like their site says.

Well every year for me has been same day accepted my info is on sbtpg..but again every person is different…who knows….I filed the 29th n accepted on 29th……. did not check sbtpg until I just read this post and my info is there

Your account should be set up with sbtpg once you are accepted by the IRS. Double check your info

@Sally You likely won’t see anything on SBTPG until you are Approved and have a DDD.

Okay my question is last night I filed, I was accepted by the IRS about 15 to 20 minutes later. I had fees taken from my refund. But when I go on the SBTPG site it says it cant find our information. How long does it take for SBTPG to update with your information. Filed around 7:30 last night.

Thanks.. Im only on my 1st bar so im sure I’ll need to wait until I at least get approved..ill check then..heck state was approved on the 25th and still nothing in my account

From my experience last year it seemed to average around mid morning…the year before it was all morning and afternoon… 🤷

well my bank is just slow, lol its always taken several hours after it hits SBTPG

Yea, that doesn’t sound right! When your refund appears on SB site it is already sent to your bank, they handle the transfer beforehand..
