Alot of people are posting about the additional refund transfer fee on SBTG. I too received the original charge of $39 and another for 1st transfer fee of $40. I have contacted sbtg with no response. I called today and entered in my info and the automated said thank your for applying for the quick refund advance we will process when your return is accepted. I NEVER APPLIED for the advance and Ive also been accepted and have a DD of 2/24. Something majorly fishy is going on. We need to file with the BBB.

Nothing may happen, but alot of times when there is reports to the BBB a rep communicates through the platform to resolve the issue. Or at most finally brought to the right persons attention. Unfortunately their customer support though their website and phone is non-exsistent. Some people don’t care about $40, but think about how many consumers are paying that fee and not even realizing it. That’s not ok. Pretty sure they were already sued over a very similar issue before.

I know Chris but it dont look good when they already had plenty of 1 star complaints so maybe some will help get them in check or put them out of business??

Talked to TT and they weren’t aware of the 40 dollar charge. Was told that the charge should drop off and if not contact them for it to drop

Unfortunately, the BBB can’t actually do anything.
