Any SBGT updates? A few years ago the account number was the money transfer number…can anyone confirm? I think they are processing returns :)

I have the PATH / Offset message too. Expected refund – no deposit/funds received.
I wanted to check my deposit info as there was an error on my state refund (got it – but only because it had been pending but never hit my account – bank manually put it in) so I tried to verify my bank info. Got a message saying I needed to verify my identity by uploading valid ID.
Uploaded my DL and got and email from SBGT saying they would verify and send to the IRS for ID verification – that it will take 5-7 days.
Called IRS to verify. Said my taxes are held for review. Wondering if it’s for ID verification.

Has anyone gotten a deposit from IRS without it updating on SBTG?

They receive a notice 1-2 days in advance of the actual deposit from Treasury to inform it is coming and according to Sbtpg website they setup the dd to your bank based off the pre-note they receive…so before weekends over I think alot of folks will be good..

Oh and SBTPG updates all day long until they close. The process the deposit files as they come in which happens pretty much every hour during their business hours, just keep in mind, they work on PST so for me on the East Coast, don’t start checking until lunchtime.

I’ve had a 12 digit CUSTOMER ID # since I filed with TurboTax and was accepted on the 13th. That means absolutely nothing.
Now, my SBTPG message in blue changed from the offset message to the not received message the day my WMR updated to the PATH ACT.
That’s the only thing that has changed on my SBTPG account.
What I’d like to see is them saying they’ve received and disbursed it. :p

I did call, plz don’t go there with me!! I said legit because I initially thought we would be harassing them but if it gives you the option of inquiring about a refund from the IRS, ITS a legit thing. Get a grip!!

Thanks for the info Johnny. I don’t need another ID theft on my head. That last sentence “I guess it’s a legit thing to call them” had me scratching my head for a second. Either he doubted his resources or was trying to get one of us to call. Hopefully he doubted his resources and not handing out a bad number :(

No…not through the treasury… if your account number has changed to the unique tracking number (a 12 digit banking identification number.. your refund is being processed. There is now an account number — SBTG uses this number as your account number once your refund is being processed

Wouldn’t trust that Treasury number. If you do a quick google on it seems like scam. Another way for them to get important information from you. First thing that comes up is this fraud looking website. I will post link below

I just did but they are busy, in guessing word is spreading. Their system even ask you if you’re an individual expecting a refund from the IRS…It then directs you to a system and place you on hold.so I guess it is a legit thing to call them

I just noticed when you ponted it out…I’ve read folks are calling the treasury dept to see if IRS sent over a refund. You get a live person, I haven’t called yet

So I logged in and it used to say they hadn’t received and I could contact IRS offset line to check if debt owed. Same thing it says every year. Now this morning the top just days haven’t received yet. Anybody else notice the change up top? Seems odd that the message would change on SBBT site.
