If you’ve had your fees taken out using TurboTax and your refund is going through Santa Barbara Bank and Trust (or Green Dot), please update here. Seems as though there’s a slim chance we could see refunds without WMR or transcript updates. If you happen to log into SBBT they’ve received your refund, please update here.

Drewbee – I’m not sure who Tax Act goes through.

Crystal, I’ve seen a few people run into that, but I haven’t seen anything definite on what it means. A couple people have said it happens, and then the next time they log in it’s gone.

I just got my DDD for 02/10 from WMR, no tax codes, etc… I then went to check on SBBT and there’s an error code “We have not received your refund dated for 01/00/0001” they don’t show any amount and it says contact the IRS, IRS says I’ll get the money by 02/10…so I’m assuming it’s too early to check SBBT or they’re updating their system? Anyone run into this?

Does this bank handle tax act refunds too?

SBBT has always been good to me as well.

It’s too bad they don’t have an email update option to update once something on your account changes.

I’ve filed using TT and have had fees taken out through SBBT for years. I do believe they update throughout the day. some years they released my funds at 3am other times 3pm, I think it just all depends on when the IRS sends it over to them.

still on 1st bar on WMR so of course no DDD yet
usually get my refund back 7 days after filing even when funds have to go through SBBT first

SBBT had an error saying it was past my date and to contact IRS first thing this morning. Then the next time I checked it changed to the same ole we have not received your refund from the IRS.

I filed with TT and was supposed to have a DDD of yesterday. Called the IRS today, the money has been released by them. It should go to SBBT. Still haven’t seen anything. Hoping for later today.

I’m hoping people will check in on this thread when they receive an update. Maybe it’ll help me feel like I can do something productive without checking every five minutes. :D Kidding….sort of.

I know its not first thing in the morning. I remember last year having to wait, but not all day it was somewhere between 11 am and 1p.m. est.time.

Then I had to wait for money sent to pre paid card. 2 years ago I had it sent to netspend card and sbgt sent it right after they received it. Netspend posted it same day around 6 pm. However, they froze our money right when it hit. Our refund was over 5k, joint return. Had to call in and was asked questions off credit report and they lifted the freeze.

Last year I used accountnow and they never froze my money even though it was a brand new card and my refund was 8k.

They do release same day, too. Last year my refund was scheduled for 2/6. They received it on 2/5 and released the same day.

I believe they do update throughout the day, but I can’t be certain. I feel like last year, it was later in the day when it updated to say it had received my funds.

I was going to ask the same thing. Also, does anyone know if they update through the day?
