Anyone who gets a WMR or Transcript update this evening or tomorrow, use this thread to update everyone on what your update(s) is/are.

Same boat guys. Ddd of 2/22, was path prior. Return accepted by irs on 1/22. Wmr updated to tax topic 203. Called offset line, option 2, MAY have an offset bc of dept of edu but no amt. wmr still shows full refund amt. transcript shows 846 deposit date and amt for 2/22. No offset code on transcript! Turbo tax fees paid from my federal return too.

@Fedup… did you call the offset line?

Two questions … 1) Is there anyway possible that you could have an offset?

2) Did you choose to have your bank fees and turbo tax fees deducted?

I know for a fact I don’t have any offsets, yet this 203 appears on my WMR. I’m starting to see a lot people start to ask this question, so I started to google and found that quite a few people saw this who had their fees bank fees and fees deducted from their federal refund. I find it hard to believe that everyone has an offset, and if you don’t have an offset that it has to do with that.
You think it has to do with the fees?

@Babygirl I can’t speak for everyone on here, but I would think there would be no way that many people were trolling/lying. But I can say with 100% honesty that I updated to 2 bars and a DDD of 2/22 about 20 minutes ago. I hope yours updates soon as well :)

02/15/19: updated to still processing NO PATH
02/16/19: updated to ddd on 02/22 & 203 offset code on wmr / 846 on transcript/ NO offset code on transcript. Refund amount still same on wmr.
Called irs.. option 1 says no debt, option 2 says 1 debt “could be” offset contact dept ed. DOESNT STATE AMOUNT LIKE I’VE SEEN OTHER SPEAK OF (sorry for caps)…

My son had student loan 2014 but was killed by drunk driver 2016…

Does this mean I will not receive my refund???

Sidenote: I compared transcripts from 2016, 2017 and all are same codes as this year.

Very odd. It says a check will
Be mailed by 2/26. Verified with TaxAct the DD option was selected and filled in. Same information was on my state and that deposited no problem. Anyone ever experience this before?

I really don’t understand what is going on. Everyone updating except me. It’s only 9:24pm here yesterday my WMR went to processing at 10:11pm so there’s a lil hope. But this tax season has been the most difficult because I can’t tell what’s going on. Every year it’s usually very similar. This year, I spare don’t know shit and I’m a tax preparer.

I am pATH. Had one bar until I turned to the path message Wednesday and updated to the processing message this morning with an 846 code on my transcripts this morning as well and then just updated to my ddd this evening so I’ve had three updates to WMR since Wednesday when I just had the one bar

Does your refund amount on WMR still show your original amount or is it reduced? The amount showing on WMR if you have a DDD posted should be what they sent you

I think WMR might still be updating until midnight EST so just keep checking if you haven’t seen any updates and you had the processing message

@anonomyous I have a rushcard and had my deposit last year on 2/16, but that was a Friday. Then my WMR updated the following day for a refund date of 2/23. Hopefully we will have our deposits soon. I’m thinking it might be a little weird because of all this happening on a weekend and then Monday is a holiday but you never know! Fingers crossed it’s soon!

Just checked the irs2go app. I have a ddd of 2/22 i filed 131 accepted 2/1 have the eic and path updated online to just still processing. Fingers crossed.
