Starting a thread now for anyone especially PATHers that get an update to their WMR on 2/16 Saturday

Helpful to know when you filed, are you path, did you have the path message, did your transcripts update to show the 846 code?

I filed and was accepted on February 2nd. I usually recieve my refund within 2 weeks and have never had any tax issues. I claimed eitc and actc. My status went from ” being processed ” to ” Still being processed around mid February. I began calling the it’s towards the end of February and was told different story’s by the reps. I was told a few times that I’m going under review starting March 11th and to contact the IRS in 45 days from that date if I don’t receive a letter or my refund. Thought I was in for a looking wait and Boom! Woke up this morning with a did of March 13 ( Wednesday). From what I gather from all of the posts and comments online is that every situation is different. The best we can do is not depend on our refunds 💯%. Especially if you claim those credits(eitc,actc). Now let’s see if I get a early did. Hopefully Monday but I don’t feel no type of way no more because the fact that I thought I’d be waiting months put me in a whatever happens happens state of mind. I went last week from take action code 1541 to received and being processed..it’s March 8 2019 and no update yet..what’s the difference between being processed and still being processed..Is there an update coming?

I filed 2017 taxes on August 28,2018. I got a letter in Oct. saying they needed 69 more days to process my refund. Shortly before Christmas the WMR Updated showing it was processing. I filed EL. And DD. WMR says not found or error code on their app. I’ve called and can’t get anyone on the phone. The company I used to file electronically, can’t help me. This is absolutely bull. Anyone else not getting a code or anything on WMR?

Well I was just able to request my return transcripts irs says they will be hear in 5-10 days. Hopefully that means my return was done being processed and approved. Only way to find out is tomorrow when wmr updates. Hopefully it will be good news.

@ebony did you claim the eitc or any other credit. if you did then that’s the hold up the IRS claims that they cant release these funds with eitc or other credits till mid Feb. Which would have been Feb/15 and they claim that the early filers who claimed credits should have there money by Feb/27 threw I think March/4. BUT WHO KNOWS there a bunch of IDIOTS.

1800-829-1040… Press 1 for English when asked to. Next press ext 2, then ext 1, then ext 3 and then ext 2. Its going to ask you to put in your social security number, DO NOT enter it. It will ask you twice to enter it but just ignore it and then it will give you more extensions, press 2 again. Boom real person, if their phones are not over loaded. I filed jan 6th. Been accepted but still processing!!!! My friends have dates. One friend got her refund uesyerday. Irs is bull crap last year my wmr didnt update until i got it in my bank. One state person told my mom they were not releasing state until 23rd. But when i called the lady said mine was issued that day!!!! And the person who got her refund yesterday had eic!! Ive read a lot about peoples wmr just not updating. I cant get a live person on the phone its beyond irritating.

I’m hoping to see wmr say approved sometime this week or Saturday. Btw I filed 02/09. @mommajess exactly I agree with you 100% they stupid. Another thing they say is they can’t see anything before the 21 days are up but I think that’s bullshit I think they can see everything that’s going on but refuse to tell us. When they take taxes out of our paycheck that’s instant they never miss a beat but when we try and get our refunds they take as long as they want.

Same thing to me last year. Bars vanished. Irs kept telling me nothing was wrong. SOMETHING was wrong though. Contacted a tax advocate in March FINALLY got my refund in the middle of May.

Hey everyone I’m going threw the same bs. filed 02/09 sat in processing till the update on 02/16 then no bars just a message says still processing. Idk if I’m daily or weekly. The waiting sucks I was told that I can start counting down the 21 days from when I filed 02/09 then I call hrblock and they say oh no you have to start counting from 02/15 keep getting mixed answers very confused. I looked online at various threads that say if you have no bars that means they pulled the return for further review wmr has no bars and no tt message just still processing does called irs they say all it means is its still processing. Called irs this morning and still being processed means just that! The rep says there isnt anyrhing that appears to be wrong they are just behind due to shut down. He says there isnt a ddd date as of yet. He ran a compliance check and there wasnt any additional info needed or anything they are truly just fkng around with our money. Processing date on transcripts are still 00-00-0000 ever since WMR went to PATH on 2/9 where as on 2/8 when they became available it was 02/25/2019.

The code means u are in the weekly processing. The last 2 numbers mean weekly. The date doesn’t mean anything. Look for code 846 on it to see if there is a refund date

OK SO: To my understanding Daily Accounts are processed Fri, Mon and Tues, with major update on WMR on Wednesday morning between 3:30am and 6am

Weekly Accounts are processed ONLY on Thursday with a MAJOR UPDATE on WMR on Saturday.

Unfortunately for me and a lot of us, I have no idea if I am a weekly or a daily but I guess I will just have to wait and see like everyone else.
This year really suck and everything is just confusing ugh. Mines is still saying “Is Being Processes”

Queen, I am pretty much in the exact same situation as you filed and accepted on 2/3 (but I’m using 2/4 as my dates) filed both credits and never did get path message. Had one bar until Saturday when I lost by bars and it says my return is being processed. I am seeing people that filed on 2/9 with DDD already. “Okay everyone I just got done talking to them they said pertaining to earned income credits some of our returns got delayed because of the government shutdown but they would be updating the WMR all of this week. So I honestly think WMR is messing up.. on Feb 14th I was wondering why my return stated it was still being processed. Called IRS… She said it’s nothing wrong it’s just still being processed… Now I have the being processed message no codes… I believe that we are approved among the rest. Good news!!! Don’t stress everyone… I just called the tax services my tax preparer used and the rep told me my refund has been approved by the IRS.. I just didn’t update on wmr. So calm down… If you didn’t get any codes you should be getting your refund in a few days…you will most likely update during the week or after you receive your funds. I hope this helps someone. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!

@jess I’m sorry they’re not returning your call. I’m sure they’re getting a lot of calls given paying customers are getting different answers from different reps, also some say they received their money last year on President’s day, so a lot of people with a DDD for 2/21 2/22 are wondering if they’ll get it again on President’s day. I filed with turbo tax at 2 am on 1/29 and it was received and accepted by the IRS within 20 minutes. WMR updated to “is being processed” on 2/16, my turbo tax bar went full today but status is still “accepted” and I can’t get my transcripts online. Checked wmr a few minutes ago and have your return is being processed with no bars and filing status with amount on the side. I’ve been reading a lot of comments and congrats to all who have ddd. I am so confused as to people say if it say “STILL” it’s bad and “IS BEING” is good and some say it doesn’t matter. I’m confused to weekly and dailies as to what does that mean and what category I fall in. Also when you all post can you mention if you are EAST, WEST OR CENTRAL. I am in central Oklahoma. Return recieved on Jan 28th. Accepted on the 29th. The first update I’ve had for 2 weeks was today, Feb 16th when my bars and tax topic disappeared, but the amount and all other info was still out to the left. It changed to this message: We have received your return and it is being processed. I really expected to see an approved message or ddd today. Since I’ve read that wmr doesn’t update on sundays, I don’t know when I’ll see another change. I dont remember this happening late year but I do remember that I received my deposit on the 22nd so maybe I will receive it before the site even updates?🤷‍♀️

I filed on 2/5 with EIC and CTC. I stayed on one bar all the way up to this morning I had no bars and no T152. it still had my deposit amount though. Well it is almost 10pm CST and I just checked because I saw that it updates from 9-12. I now have 2 bars with a DD of 2/22/19. I’m not sure if I’m a weekly or daily sorry. I just thought I would share since I went from 1 bar with T152 yesterday to waking up with no bars or T152. Then tonight I have a deposit date. I wasn’t expecting that after reading some posts.

I filed and was accepted 1/23. Im a pather with the EIC , the works. Did me no good to file early one bit if the wait is a damn month. POINTLESS. Like I have said before, the IRS needs a massive overhaul and simplification in order to speed up this process each year. Folks just cant wait near a month on money they sorely need. Its hurting people.

I don’t think the next big update (telling people their DDD) will be until Wednesday, not Tuesday. Most people thought that we would see a big update on the 15th too but from what I’ve gathered it updated for the previous day. So if it updated for Tuesday it would be updating for Monday (Presidents day) so don’t be shocked if you don’t see another update until Wednesday morning.

You guys are lucky that you can order transcripts, I don’t have a credit card or car or school loan so I can’t get mine, that’s kind of ridiculous. So if you’ve paid all of that stuff off or just never had them you can’t create an account with the irs, they need to find another way to verify identity.

It did this last year and the year before. Most of us will get dd on WMR tomorrow if you had that message saying it is being processed. At least that has held true for the past two years for me. I will check back tomorrow.

Still processing; PATHER who never received PATH message just TT 152. Finally had transcripts update today to allow 2018 to be accessed. Cycle 20190705, 3/4/19 processing date. However, NO Code 846 shows, just Codes 150, 766 twice, 768 for EITC and 971 Notice issued. PLUS, the amount of refund showing as a credit on my trfanscript is $66.55 LESS than my TurboTax amount of refund. I’m wondering if this discrepancy and “notice issued” but not yet received is due to another W2 for an additional $300 in earned income, which came AFTER filing? I’ve been expecting DDD of 2/21/19 but now wonder if it will be delayed… :( Anybody have any info/thoughts on any of this? thanks
