Santa Barbara Tax Group – Flagged For Suspicious Activity

Hry all, so I went to check the status of my fixed refund from Santa Barbara Tax Group and their website states, “your account has been flagged for suspicious activity. please verify your identity by fax or uploading proof”.

I’m confused… has anyone had this happen before?

  Did dame thing to me ready to file complaints with IRS and better business bureau in California, maybe the FDIC office too

  It’s crazy. I verified last Thursday and have yet to hear anything. There was a lady I talked to who said they are behind but not to worry because my money is safe. Ha! It’s not safe until it’s in my wallet, lady!
  
  The worst part is knowing that once they decide I’m not a fraud, I’ll have to wait on a check to be mailed out. And who knows how lomg that will be…

  The exact same thing happened with me. They have put me on hold two hours every day with no response. I’m getting ready to file a complaint with the IRS.
