on Friday evening had no information available

Saturday got the PATH message when after entering my information in the WMR portal

@Jessica….with all due respect….I created this thread for the PATH message….transcripts however….different thing…..no disrespect….everyone is losing their mind over them…getting stressed out..and accumulating more gray hair over a transcript ….myself decided not to deal with it. ..

02- Processes Monday👉 Transcripts can be updated/ordered Tuesday👉 WMR updates to approved DDD Early Wednesday morning for DD the following Friday.
03- Processes Tuesday👉 Transcripts can be updated/ordered Wednesday👉 WMR updates to approved DDD Early Thursday morning for DD for the following Monday.
04- Processes Wednesday👉 Transcripts can be updated/ordered Thursday👉 WMR updates to approved DDD Early Friday morning for DD for the followingTuesday.

I’m not taking away that a transcript….can be good…..because now people are demanding and asking to see what the irs does and how they do it….because we in America just go with the flow…..

But IRS has come out and said that being able to order a transcript is NOT a magic way to get your refund processed any quicker…nor does it mean your approved or even processed….especially in my case last year….

so I thank you….and I am very humbled….by your comment…

and transcripts DO mean something now…..

it means follow up and stay vigilant about what’s going on with your return…your refund….and where your tax dollars are really going….

@Trishalla I correct myself I read your comment about last year now I’m totally convinced transcripts mean nothing, wow the irs, tax season is like going back to school all over again. I’m learning something new everyday and just can’t wait to be done with it lol

@Trishalla I agree I don’t think transcripts really offer much but codes that, unless u speak irs language, would know nothing about lol but I definitely think being able to order them is good because at least something or someone is doing something to your return and it’s not just sitting in a pile somewhere forgotten

@nonaSC my cycle date was the same as yours last year but I got a DD 2/10.. So I’m not going by the 2/20 date. I’m hoping there will be an update friday/sat with a DDD of 2/15 (fingers crossed) or at the latest 2/22 This whole PATH thing is throwing things off a little.

I filed on 1/9 got message that I was accepted on 1/13. I’ve been checking WMR, my bars have been gone for over a week and just has message that it’s being processed and to check back for availability date. No path message. I do claim both of the credits affected by the new law. Is anyone else having the same message on WMR?

From my observation that 2/20 processing date is the date your refund will process. When wmr updates on the 15th you’ll see 2/24 for your ddd. I confirmed this info .

but shouldn’t your tax preparer or the tax software you used before have your income from last year….your w2…..just saying…..but that’s why I created this thread to get away from transcript talk…..because I hate to see my fellow brothers and sisters stressing….really over something that is really not going to make you or bread you

Transcripts mean I can verify last year’s income if I need to not when my DDD will be. That is the actual purpose of them. They do have a purpose.

Filed 1/30 accepted 1/30 EIC actc able to order transcripts by mail 2/3 path message 2/4. Filed with hr block generic message on their site saying I won’t receive till week of 27th blah blah blah

File 01/29 accepted 01/30. Got the PATh message 02/04 and it’s still there

Why….you may ask….last year I was able to call and get my transcript and my return had not even been touched by the irs….it was in a pile. for manual processing lol….then still got my refund in a timely manner….so I learned last year….a transcript will not make me or break me….at least in my situation…..and this year….my return…actually posted to the master file without a problem….so I decided to just sit myself down somewhere….and not stress…

Same here 20170505 with date 02/20/17. No code 846. Check my account transcript for last year it was 20160505 with date 02/22/16 with the code 846. I guess we just have to wait till after the 15 still got PATH message.
