Resequenced????

      I saw somewhere that people who filed 1/19-1/23 got resquenced during the shut down and now got pushed all the towards the back!! Is this true??

          @Brittany, That is semi true. What happened according to the 3 reps i spoke to at the IRS is if you filed 1/21-1/23, which I did, there was an overload of processing with the master file. What that did was send us back to the beginning and started processing again, extending our returns 7-14 addl days to the already 21. A major glitch. What I am guessing is there was so many people resequenced that they shut down the system for anyone new coming through and processing. Because you can bet your ass, the IRS will be held accountable for delayed returns throygh news coverages and congressional hearings. This is a HUGE injustice,

            I’m getting very impatient too!! This is some bull!! We shouldn’t have to wait!! Especially since others have theirs and filed later!!!

              I have been hearing that alot too. I filed the 15th, accepted the 19th, and STILL NO update on wmr, couldn’t get my return transcripts, only my account transcripts. And me and my husband are getting very impatient!
