Any one use Republic Bank before? I am trying to figure out if they post early or will the deposit be the same day as the DD? HELP!!!!

@misti I am in the same situation. My DDD was 3/6 I filed at Jackson Hewitt. IRS says it was sent but nothing is showing on Republic site and when I call they say the haven’t received it. I dnt know what’s going on.

Idk if it is any help but I used TaxACT, fees taken out of refund, went through to republic bank. Ddd 3/6, republic got it 3/5, and sent to my Chase same day. Best wishes.

I am hoping someone has the answers! We filed with Jackson Hewitt, got talked in to the Serve card. Needless to say we had a ddd for 3/6 and it’s now 3/8 and the irs “SENT” the funds out on the 6th. @Obamastillcares Honestly I used a local Service called Money Tax Service in Alabama. I originally gave them my DD info and after being accepted they offered a small loan of $500 @interest. Today after Republic Took out over $700 for prep fees and transfer fees, I called to find out why my message changed to Call for check and that is what I was told. I am waiting on my funds all the same no reason to lie.

Sadly I just spoke with Republic Bank and after tears, fussing I was told per @agent that if you received a loan(anticipation) or otherwise you will recieve a paper check if you went through a preparer. 😒😔😕and they said nothing about this when I gave them my printed bank information 🙁😭☹I just want a washer and to by my husband a new wedding Band😎 a windshield before summer.

I did my taxes through a local tax preparer and applied for the advance, so I should be able to pick up a paper check today, since they bank with Republic and print the checks right there. I’ve been lurking and not posting for the past 3 days but I wanted to post an update to be helpful to someone else. I filed as a Pather through Taxact and was accepted on 1/22 and got a DDD of 2/22 on Saturday the 16th. Republic just updated for me last night. Fees have been taken and it says funds have been sent to my Bluebird card, although it’s not showing yet on my card. So I’m guessing before day’s end which would be on par with last year. I got my deposit one day early last year with all the same elements in play. Same job, dependents, tax prep, prepaid card, etc. Good luck to all who are still waiting. I’ve been just as frantic and still am until I see that money on my card for certain.

I filed through one stop taxes paying fees through republic bank and transferring to my go bank which is greendot technically. I can’t access my transcripts online and I have no updates from republic and IRS just says they received my return and it’s being processed. This is my first year doing it this way so I don’t know a norm for any of this. So frustrating 😣

It’s the IRS that is jacking up quite a bit. For my situation, anyway.

I spoke to a really great rep at Republic an hour ago. I have a DDD if 02/22. She said they don’t have the refund yet from the IRS… Which is why my fees are not taken out, etc.

She also said that the process is totally automatic. Once the funds are released from the IRS, the fees automatically come out and the rest of the refund due is automatically sent to my Direct Deposit bank… (PNC).

I asked about if the funds arrived from the IRS on Friday… what would my chances be of having my money still hit my bank account on Friday or even the weekend. This is where it depends on my bank, PNC. I am going to call them in a bit to see what they they say in regards to depositing my refund on the weekend.

But it’s wild. There are so many moving parts to getting our refunds. It does get frustrating, for sure. I figure we should all look at each moving part individually and chunk them down piece by piece. Right now I know the IRS is my hold up. Next I am going to hop on my phone and get the weekend deposit answers I need.

It’s very frustrating, I get it. My husband finished filling (at had the flu) and he didn’t bother to ask and of course JH didn’t offer how much they were charging, we paid 702.00 to file this year. NEVER again will that happen. I do know last year and years prior we get ours anywhere from 3-6 days before the actual DDD. I hope everyone gets their money today.

Ive always received the money in my checking account the same day Republic received it from the IRS, and that has always been one or more days before the DDD

As soon as Republic Bank get the refund from IRS they take the fees then send out to your bank (they don’t hold)

Oh, one more thing… My refund went in like 11:00 pm that night, so I would imagine for many it would be day after Republic for most.

I used Republic a couple of times. The DD will first go that bank, then in the same day they turn around and send it to your bank. I don’t know what bank you bank at, so I know from experience it depends on the receiving bank. I know for sure that last year I received my DD in my bank the SAME day as Republic bank got my refund, BUT my work DD also goes into my account the day before others at my work go in. I bank at Woodforest. If you receive the text messages, they will text you once it is sent. Last year my refund dropped on a Monday, and I received it last night. This year, with Presidents Day, I expect it will probably drop tomorrow.

So it’s my 1st time with Serve Card thru Jackson Hewitt and I am guessing that they go thru Republic Bank I have a DDD of 2/22 any chance of it possibly going in early???!

They deposit all different times. I’ve received as early as 9:30 am up until 7pm.

I’m stuck on your refund is being processed accepted 1/28 went from path to this. Does anyone remember what time JH’s bank deposited funds in their account? I know I got mine before WMR updated just dont remember the time.

I filed with JH and they use Republic, I’ve always gotten mine early. 2-3 days earlier but last yr I received it 6 days before my DDD

I have always gotten the text from them the day of my DDD but it could very from where everyone files. I file through TaxAct
