Refund review reference#1541

Received take action notice (reference #1541) on 02/17.
Spoke with IRS agent today was told I was under review and to wait 2 to 3 weeks from the date the review started. She said letter was just sent out today……
I claimed EITC & AITC, filed thru TT.

Just wondering if there is anyone out there that has gone thru or is going thru the same thing, and might have any idea how long it actually takes once you go into review.

  Just went through this. After seeing so many others with this same reference code, I think it means something popped up while processing the return. Sometimes they fix it without needing anything from you. In my case, my 21 day processing time had passed and I saw on my transcript that there was a hold and a letter being sent on March 13th as well. Instead of waiting for another week or so, I decided to see what I could find out with the help of an advocate. Glad I decided to do that because my issue was fixed and money was released in just a few days. I had a pretty big issue and would have been waiting for quite a while. I originally thought my DDD was on 03/27 but it’s actually tomorrow.

  I filed 2/5 called after 21 days said I was being reviewed and it would take 45 days and that I would get a letter dated March 13. On sat I updated to 2 bars with a DDD of March 15. I just got the letter in the mail today lol
