Refund recovery issue?

This year, TT asked how much money I received for each of the 2 stimulas payments. I put in what i got…however, my boyfriend claimed my son last year and im claiming him this year. The site is saying i qualify for the recovery credit for my son, (for round 2) even though my boyfriend claimed him. My son has always lived with me full time. My X and i just swap years when filing taxes. TT doesnt seem to know if i should be getting that credit, the recovery credit, (my bf got the xtra stimulas for my son that year) or if my tax return will be held up due to this or if i will end up having to pay it back if they do end up giving it to me? Has anyone encountered it?!?

Since your boyfriend claimed him then he might have to claim him again only because it won’t show that y’all already got the money because he got it from his taxes last year and not yours. Or you can claim him but have to get the money again and you’ll end up having to pay it back if they find out. I don’t think it’ll allow you to go forward without giving you the money.
