      I am so confused and slightly excited but afraid to be excited. I filed on Friday the 26th. Was accepted the 29th and updated to approved today with a DDD of 2/6. I claim ACTC. No EIC. I did PATH last year and didn’t get my refund until 2/22. Anyone else update?? I took a screen shot and edited out my private info but can’t find a way to post it. I checked the actual papers turbo tax used to file and it does show I claimed ACTC. Anyone else update?

        @Jennifer – I think I was chatting you in another string. Andrew’s question is important – I filed w/ CTC (not ACTC) and already have my refund. From what I’ve read and the info compiled, only if you have EIC and/or ACTC (I don’t know about ONLY ACTC – which is your exact situation) how it effects it.

        @Jennifer

        I filed with CTC (not ACTC…but I don’t know if there is a difference)…and I’ve already received my refund (as of 01/30/2018). Now…last year I was in the same boat as you! I didn’t get my refund until 02/22/2017 BUT did have EIC last year…

        Earlier, I’d been posting that I thought I did have the EIC but when I reinvestigated my return (and had everyone calling me a liar), looked at Line 35 and there it was (the CTC (and NOTHING filled in under EIC).

        So…in short, CTC isn’t effected. You may be on your way to makin’ it rain!

            Are you sure you claimed ACTC and not CTC?
