Refund Approved , DDD given , Have not filed 2014/2015

Any reason my 2016 refund should not come through ? I called IRS a week or so ago and was told there was a hold since I had not filed 2014/2015 taxes. I sent those in mail today , but for shits and giggles I checked my WMR and it updated to refund approved and 2 bars with DDD of 2/23 . Any reason I should not expect it to come through , anybody get a DDD despite hold on refund? The IRS owes me for 2014/2015 btw…

Received my Sbtpg update and funds have been released should be in my Wells Fargo account tommorow, took full 21 days to process and send funds, people on the phone are in the dark and I was told an absolute lie about my account having a hold, good luck everyone thanks for the help!!

@DaFunk , never did get a DDD , filed 2/6 with eic credit , moved through all the typical updates but got tied up on the “being processed” message on 2/16. Was able to order both transcripts by mail on 2/11 and received both those & cp63 notice yesterday (2/21). When I called Saturday was told everything looked good and was just delayed bc of path. It will be a while now before I get my refund. Oh well. If you got a dd you might have slipped through the cracks :). Keep us posted !

Did you get a CP63 or cp88 notice? I called Saturday and was told no holds on acct. Received a cp63 notice today that they were holding my refund due to not filing 2015 return, submitted that today via fax, was told by rep in holds department that they can’t remove hold until 2015 return is processed , said it could take 8- 12 weeks :(. Who knows if you didn’t get a notice you may get your refund on dd , good luck !

my gueas is if the wmr shows a ddd you should get it. otherwise it should say something else.

No offset messages , nothing on hotline. I do owe the state some money so maybe that held up my return?? Im guessing if I got DDD funds will be released … anybody?

21 days up on 2/23 only reason for questioning if I will actually get it or if they gave 2/23 ddd since it was 21 days…
