      So at first I had tax topic 151 but then I received a very small deposit! Then after the deposit WMR changed to reference code 1242 call irs! Well I did that and the lady was rude! I was able to order both transcripts but its like reading something in a different language lol.. the lady did however say its in review and nothing was showing that I needed to send anything in at this time… I claimed my grandchildren but I also claimed them 2012 and 2013… 2014 their mom claimed them.. so my question is has anyone got a full deposit with the reference code or any letters from the irs?

            Yea I received that letter also.. I was told excuse after excuse when I call the irs.. they told me that my 45 days will be up on the 14th and to call on the 15th if I haven’t heard anything.. so its basically a waiting game! I was told to get a tax advocate but I’ve already sent in everything so I’m not sure

              So for the situation with the fiance. Mine is exact same thing. We sent in info. How long did/does it take to recieve the rest of our refund? Weve called irs and faxed in all proof they tell us nothing. Amd we got a letter again saying we will get another letter if they dont get it done by may. Does it usually take four plus.months to review and issue? Pls help.

                I have the same thing. when calling the IRS its about the dependents that you claims that are not your “children” you will have to send in proof showing that they lived with you for the yr and you provided support. It happens to me every yr because my fiance claims the kids. so until we are married he has to mail/fax in proof. All we send is a letter from the school on the school letter head showing they are enrolled and what address they have on file. a copy of his ID with the same address and birth certificates for the kids.
