Received State Refund but Not Federal

I filed on 1/30 with a dependent and received my state refund (CA) on Saturday, but still haven’t received my federal refund. This is the first time I have received my state refund before my federal, should I be concerned that sometimes is wrong with my federal refund? I haven’t bothered checking WMR because the site has always been incorrect in the past.

  @Tina – I never bothered checking websites anymore so I’m not sure what deposit date was posted. Are you in CA?

  Did they already put your states in your account? If so how long did it take? Mines was issued 2/19 on Friday and it’s not in my account yet 😩 I’ve never gotten states before because I always owed but now I’m getting them this time and I don’t know how long it takes to deposit after it says issued. Hopefully you can help me out? Thanks!!

  I always get my state return before my fed return (california). From my experience, they won’t accept your state return until your Federal return has been accepted so you should be fine.
