Received DD 4 Days After Acceptance

I’m very curious if anyone else out there received their direct deposit into their bank accounts just as fast as I received mine ???

My story is as follow:

I filed Federal and State on 1/29 and both accepted same day. I have No EIC or Dependents and I don’t owe any taxes of any sort, had only one job all year. My taxes was very simple as it has been for years.

Check WMR this morning and this afternoon and its only showing 1 Bar

About 10 minutes ago, I received a Notification on my iPhone that a direct deposit was posted to my Bank Account. I had to do a double take, to make sure my eyes wasn’t playing tricks on me or Apple pulling a cruel joke on me with this notification.
And so I proceeded to log into my Bank Account and there it was, my Federal Refund. I still was in disbelief so I log out and log back in and again there it was. And then I check out WMR to see if a Surprised update came through and it wasn’t, its still showing only 1 Bar

I have been filing Taxes since 1996 and never and I do mean NEVER have I EVER received my Federal Refund this fast. I am still finding it unreal how I filed this past Monday 1/29 and was accepted about two hours later and to received my Refund deposited into my Bank 4 days later. 4 Days!!! Man, the shock is completely WOW!!

I don’t know what it was, perhaps a guardian angel of some sort but I am truly grateful for the world record that was made towards my Federal Refund this year. And now the only thing left is my State. Let’s just see if my State will also set a record. I will be back on a Update from that later.

My daughter filed through TT and was accepted 1/29, and their DD was in their account on 2/1. I couldn’t believe it. Like yours – it was very simple, MFJ, no dependents, but still…3 days. Unheard of!

Stephanie: 20180505 means DD on 2/7. IF your transcript shows acceptance code 846. If it shows code 150 your cycle date means nothing.

I have EIC and got the code 20180505 what does this mean?

I woke up to WMR return approved and did scheduled for 2/7. I filed on 1/29. I have dependents but no child tax credit. I’ve never seen it happen this quickly.

I filed 01/28, accepted 01/29. Transcripts all available, CYCLE date of 20180505, and 846 refund sent date of 02/07/2018. Hoping to see mine soon aswell! They are moving fast

@Kenyatta Thanks! Wow! I haven’t been keeping up with the news lately but if they indeed have another shutdown I’m afraid there maybe delays with other refunds but I am truly blessed to have gotten mine very quick. I hope to have my State soon, at least before a possible Shutdown next week.

Some said the irs is trying to get all the early filers out the way before the possible goverment shut down on 2/8 so congrats n feel bleesed
