I was looking at my transcripts and they show received date 4/15/20 right under the cycle posted. Does anyone know what that means?

I just went through my transcripts again. In one of my transcripts it says “received date or due date (whichever is later)” directly above my processing date of February 17th.

I received the same thing. This is just my opinion, and I am not the expert. I received a processing date of February 17th and a received date of April 15th. I think either 1: that is the default in their system for all returns and for some reason it was never switched to the actual date, or 2: it was a default date for PATHers, so that it did not get processed with the same batch that filed on the same dates and therefore receive refunds prior to the mandatory February 15th date. Just my two cents.

I was looking at all of mine for the past few years and noticed it as well. I think it’s just what they put since that’s when taxes are due. I don’t think it really means anything when it comes to getting your refund.
