Random Transcript Info

Finally got my account transcript after ordering on 2/3. Kind of interesting it was not complete, as it stated that a return had not been filed yet, but there was still a processing date at the top 2/20/2017.

Another weird thing was that I was able to order two more transcripts after the fact on 2/4 even though the system stated that I had already ordered transcripts. For some reason, it sent them anyway. They still show the same information as the previous one from 2/3.

For what it’s worth I knew I wasn’t done processing yet on 2/3 because I was not able to order my return transcript. I finally was able to order my return transcript on 2/10, so I’m assuming that is when my return was actually completed. I’m just waiting for both new transcripts from 2/10 in the mail now. However, I’m hopeful I will see a DD before that point.

@digg9779, interestingly enough, I also filed 1/26. By the way, I see some others who can view transcripts online that are seeing the processing date change randomly. When it comes to the IRS, you learn something new every year (or even every minute, LOL).

I had the same exact scenario and I filed 1/26/17. My account transcript came blank with a processing date of 2/20/17. Like you @carrie101, I was able to order the return transcript 2/10/17. I sure do hope I see a deposit before 2/20/17.
