      WMAR says the IRS received my amended return on April 20. Could I receive my return before the 12 weeks it’s says. First time filing an amended return.

          I had to file again due to paperwork issues. I sent my 1040x 5/6. Checked on 5/20 and it
          showed received on 5/12 so the process isn’t taking as long as before. Hopefully I get my
          check sooner also.

            mine took 3 days after it was adjusted 5/20 got check Monday 5/23 received amended return 4/13 so took it took like 5 weeks all together good luck all

              From what I have read on here, once the return is adjusted people get their check within 3 days most of the time. It took mine 9 weeks to go from received to adjusted, but I had
              to send in more paperwork.
