Filed 01/21, accepted 01/23. Able to access WMR (Refund Received) up until February 11th when status bars disappeared with a Tax Topic 152 and the message,”a refund date will be provided when available.” I’ve heard different stories about status bars returning after a week or in some cases, refunds being deposited without WMR pages ever updating, though that doesn’t seem to be the case for me. I requested transcripts online today and used the tax code guide to figure out what each one means, but I’m not seeing how they apply with future dates, Code 971 in particular. I’ve called the IRS, but was told that the 03-02-2015 date next to my cycle number marks the 21st day and that I should call back then if I still haven’t received anything… which makes me wonder, why a notice would be issued on 03-09-2015. If anyone has any insight or advice on how to make sense of these dates, please let me know! Thank you in advance!

if your refund is 10,000 the 971 is telling you it’s not going to be direct deposit you will get mailed check
