I have never received this before. does it mean anything:
We have received your tax return and it is being processed.

If you filed a complete and accurate tax return, your refund should be issued within 21 days of the received date. However, processing may take longer under certain circumstances.

It’s nothing to get freaked out about, everyone gets that message until further processing.

570 code is just a hold on your refund. It doesn’t mean you owe money or have an offset. Code 898 means you have an offset and the money was already taken out of your refund.
571 code is a refund release.
971 code (usually is under the 570 code) means Notice issued, they are sending you a letter, which there is no way to find out why or regarding what until the day you get the letter. Calling the IRS will NOT speed things up nor can they tell you what the letter is regarding. They will tell you call back if the notice prompts you to.

@bg I don’t anything but I double checked offset line.same job last five years only change is new baby added made too much for eic so it’s not due to path either also don’t have a letter being sent out.it is a mystery 😂🤦🏾‍♀️

i have that to it typically means they are viewing your return and we should have ddd soon i have had this message before in prior tax years and its usually when you are clsiming the EIC credit so hopefully this will update soon i filed 2/1 accepted the same day and i have still have 1 bar

I have that message to…. it typically means they are viewing your return because you are claiming the EIC credit which may or may not take longer i filed 2/1 and was accept the same day still on 1 bar…. I filed the same time last year but everyone who filed the EIC credit did not get there refund until 2/26 due to auditing so hopefully its not going to be the same this year

@Tee roe I read that code 570 mean you owe money you might want to call the OFFSET hotline to see if you owe any other government agency.
