Processing Date on Transcript

What is this?

I have my account transcript and return Transcript.

I don’t see a code 846.

What does the date signify?

I’m not sure the date has any meaning, but I went back and looked at my last 3 account transcripts. Each time the refund was in my account exactly 12 days before the processing date and always on a Wednesday.
20160405 p. Date 2/15/16 in acct 2/3/16
20170405 p. Date 2/13/17 in acct 2/1/17
20180505 p. Date 2/19/18 in acct 2/7/18

Not a PATH but have been weekly for several years

Got a cycle date of 2-18.
Last 3 years refund was received 10 days AFTER cycle date.
4 year was 10 dates before.

I know it won’t be 10 days before this year due to PATH.

i went back 2 transcripts and the processing date is not the date its going to be deposited… my 2017 processing date was 2/19 refund issued 2/22, 2016 processing date 2/20 refund issued 2/23… 2018 yr is 2/18/19 so it should be 3 days then it will be issued…

So …

I have done every calculation I can think of … My transcripts updated last night – No 846 Code yet, If I am correct we will see an update Saturday or Next week for a DD 2/14.

On ALL of my previous years by Refund Date was exactly 11 days prior to my processing date.
It’s showing a processing date of 2/25 11 days prior would be 2/14.

Also I originally had a process date of 2/11 with NO transcripts received until last night. I am a early filler with Children, same job ect. Nothing spectacular. Again these are my own personal thoughts.

@MELISSA I have the same cycle code and processing date no 846 code, looking back at previous years my money was in my account the Thursday before my processing date so 2/21. WMR should update next week late friday/saturday morning

GOT MY TRANSCRIPT UPDATED TODAY AND HAVE A CYCLE CODE OF 20190605 AND A PROCESSING DATE OF 2/25. THERES NO 846 CODE AND I GUESS MY QUESTIONS ARE:

IS THE PROCESSING DATE GOING TO BE MY DDD?

AND, HOW LONG AFTER THE 846 CODE APPEARS DO YOU SEE YOUR REFUND?

THE GOV SHUT DOWN MESSED ME UP AND ALL MY BILLS ARE BEHIND AND I NEED MY MONEY LIKE YESTERDAY AS DO MANY OTHERS AFFECTED.

Checked WMR this morning and no movement yet. However, checked transcripts and they are finally available and show a processing date with code 846 of 2/13. Based on my experience last year that is my DDD…. Also, I seem to remember that last year for whatever reason WMR was very very late in updating but looks like I should be set for a refund next week .. woot!!

Thanks @Erin and @cindy. I never check transcripts so wasnt sure. Been checking this year after reading threads to see if any news. Especially after the bars went missing!!! Didnt help that I had filed my deceased fathers taxes 4days ago and his had a date this morning as well yet my bars were gone. It was driving me nuts

@Erin no I’m not s PATHer. Have no credits except for tuition since I’m still in college and have never had this happen before where my bars disappeared except for last yr as I forgot a form for healthcare.

Is the 846 date the day of DD? If so I’m set then. I’ve never checked transcripts before for DDD

@emily – are you able to see your account transcript for 2018? I can’t login at the moment, but on the screen where it shows 4 transcripts it’s the 3rd one (pretty sure)

I have cycle date on transcript 20190605 – Have “846” next to “Refund Issue” 2/13/2019 – there is no WMR update yet. Any ideas… Up to now, no other codes.

So my cars are gone on WMR but I finally got transcripts today. Account one says 846 2-13-19 does this mean my ddd is that day?

I had 2/11 until 10 minutes ago it updated to processing date 2/25 what does that mean? I have codes 150,806,766,768. Also showing I have my refund amount there in full. Does that mean the 25th or before I’ll have my refund in my account?

Let’s just hope there won’t be another government shutdown, who knows what will happen then. I do know if that was to happen, they aren’t dumb enough to hold our money hostage.

Still showing generic message with 152 code.
Feb 18th would be 21 days since I filed and was accepted. If I remember last year the 18th was presidents day and the IRS was closed. If I had to guess they will start issuing some returns 2/16 and 2/17 without updating wmr for some. They will close for Presidents day on Monday 2/18 reopen Tuesday 2/19 and start releasing more returns Wednesday 2/20 and so on.

I believe the processing date is when they are suppose to have our returns done by. I was accepted 1/28 and my processing date is 2/18, which would be 21 days from my acceptance date.

If I look at my account Transcript I have a processing date of February 18, 2019

My process date is also 2/11 which is weird because I am a PATHer as well. Have EITCand ACTC.
According to my transcripts over the last few years my processing date was also a few weeks AFTER I received my Deposit…makes zero sense to me.
I’ve had the same tax situation since they starting the hold with EIC and ACTC.

Heres a breakdown of the tax year, Process Date and DDD
2016 02/20/17 DDD 2/23/17
2017 03/05/18 DDD 2/22/18
2018 02/11/19 DDD ????

This is my first year as a PATHer so this year will be different, but for the past 5 years my processing date was 12 days AFTER I received my deposit (and the (846) ddd shown on past returns). This year my processing date is 2/18/19 so if I didn’t have the EIC, I would’ve most likely received my ddd for 2/6/19. Obviously that didn’t happen, so I have no way of guessing this year’s ddd other than it won’t be until after mid-February.

I got it a little wrong – Processed date : no one really knows but most get their deposits before this date. I went back and looked at previous year transcripts too and this is true for me too.

Filed and accepted 1/28 no Credits, if I still have to enter my address from last years return for transcripts, does that mean I’m not done processing?

The date your return will be processed. Mine isn’t until the 25th and I filed on the 18th accepted on the 22nd. PATHer.
