Cycle code 20220405 with 02142022 processing date. Checked transcripts yesterday had 846 code with DDD 02222022. Deposit received today. Filed 01/26 not sure if I’m a pather, never have been before but I did receive the path message.

just checked transcripts and FINALLY GOT THAT 846!!!!! DDD 2.24.22 ! So happy! I will update as to when i actually receive funds. I do have an early deposit account that posts when they get the DD note. Granted Monday is holiday so might not actually get it early. WE DID IT JOE LOL

My as of date is the only thing to change on my transcript. It went from 02/14 to 03/07 what exactly does this mean? Took my refund amount with the negative away to 0.00

A big batch will see dates Saturday (Feb. 18th). Some returns will be pulled for ID verification, some will be put on a 60 day hold so IRS can catch up and some will be resequenced. Got this info from a tax professional. Hope it helps!

So, I have my transcripts but there’s no processing date. No 846 and basically nothing that hints at when I can expect a refund. I’m still getting the “delayed beyond normal timeframe” message when checking refund status. Cycle code is 20220705. It also states that I haven’t filed when I have on Jan. 26, 2022. Can anyone help me understand?

People mistake the processing date with the Direct Deposit Date, when it is actually the day that if all info was correct and your refund is approved it moves to the last dtep where the payments are processed.

My son’s cycle ended in 0502, that means he is a daily, Monday, so Tuesday morning he got a DDD for 2/22.
Cycle: Friday01 Monday02 Tuesday03 Wednesday04 Thursday and last 05 which are the weekly ones.

The processing dateis the day that our case should actually process and give us a Deposit Date, but as we are 05, which means our case entered the system on the “last” day of the cycle, Thursday, it is processed the next Thursday after February 14th in most cases. Today is the first Thursday after our processing date, so lets see.

For those asking about the cycle code, it’s just an internal “note” that says when was your return recorded on the system aka Master File. For us it’s just some guide to know if our cases are “seen” on a determined weekday or once a week.
Our code means they entered our return in the system January 27 which is crappy because we are 05, which is for this purpose the weekly. Tonight or tomorrow morning we should see changes.

So looking at my transcript from last year, it appears that deposit arrives 5 days prior to 846 stated date. I have 766 and 768 codes but still no 846 codes for this year on my transcript. Hopefully all of us with 20220505 cycle codes we deposits by the end of this week earlier next week. With Monday being a holiday hopefully they send it early. Side bar, I bank with Chime and live in Georgia and every year my deposit hits right after 5 pm EST.

@Em183 as of date is the date the IRS puts on your transcripts of when you can expect your return to processed completely. Cycle codes are generated codes that will determine if you are daily or weeklys. This is when your transcript will update and any other information. I have a cycle code that ends on 05, I’m a weekly I see updates on Fridays, other codes 03 and 04 see updates daily, usually on Wed.

I filed with TurboTax , was accepted the 26th or 28th can’t remember, but my cycle code was 20220405 my as of date was 2/14/22 and I still can’t check transcripts. Path message lifted this morning and gave the being processed message. However, 6:50 tonight I was giving my kids a bath and I heard my phone go off with a refund deposited. I use a green dot card and it doesn’t hold it like the bank does. I’m assuming my transcripts show a 2/22 DDD but it won’t let me check.

The ones who were able to get their transcripts have a ddd of 2/22. I’m staying positive that since my wmr says being processed today that I’m in that group with 2/22. I’ve been in the I got my refund page on Facebook and the 2/22 ddd can start hitting this week. Monday is a holiday so they’ll be sent for Friday. Early cards will see them soon.
