Any idea when should see a DDD

I filed on 1/22, accepted 1/23. One bar until PATH message appeared last Wednesday (1/30). I am able to see transcripts from 2015 to 2018. The 2018 is all filled out except the magic 846 code. I don’t know how long the 2018 has been there–last night was the first time I ever checked for it and it was already there.

I am new to reading transcripts, but looking back at my last few years, I show the same as others mentioned, the processing date being about two weeks after the date of the code 846. For example, last year the processing date was 2/19, and the 846 date was 2/6. The money was in my bank on the morning of 2/8.

This year, though, it is already different. It is showing a processing date of 2/18, which is already less than two weeks from now, and I have no DDD yet. In my case it is probably because of the EIC, which I claimed this year but not in years past. I don’t have an 846 yet but I do have a separate line item that shows the EIC, with the same date as the processing date.

@Jibbbjawww Right?! Lol Even previous years at times my processing date has ended up being my DDD. It is a guessing game for sure!!!

@Jibbbjawww I heard the processing date is when they have to have your return done by. I was accepted 1/28, and my processing date is 2/18, that would be 21 days from that day. I’ve also always got my refund before/earlier, and my processing date changed to my DDD once I received the 846 code. I don’t know it’s just confusing at times.

I read on the TurboTax forum that the processing date of 2/11 is the date they will repull our refunds to see if there is still an issue. If there is not an issue they will process, if there is an issue it will just reassign a new processing date.
I truly hope that that is incorrect, I have no idea what is going on:/
My previous year processing dates were as follows…
In 2018 my processing date was 2/19 I received a deposit on Wednesday 1/31/2018
In 2017 my processing date was 2/28 and I received my refund on Wednesday 2/1/2017
in 2016 my processing date was 2/15 I received my refund on Friday 1/29/2016
So as you can see I have always received my refund at least two weeks before my processing date. Any insight? Because I have no clue. I’m afraid they are stuck in limbo some where and we won’t be able to get IRS help until after 21 days from 1/28 :(

I am thinking we will have a DDD on 2/15/19. I seen on 3 different website that Processing date+4 Business days=DDD

Hopefully we update Wednesday night to a 2/11 ddd! Which means Sat banks are on 02/11 date!
