Prepaid card limits?

      First year using a prepaid card, Green Dot Unlimited Cash back card. I normally have my refunds sent to my bank, chase. But wanted to see if it would come earlier. (Was told later green dot doesn’t issue early)

      Now I just say there’s a direct deposit limit on some cards. My refund is 10,898. That’s over some cards limits. I’m now freaking out and feel stupid and should have used my chase account.

      Has anyone heard of this happening and had to wait for a check?

            Thanks guys. I guess I’m being paranoid lol. I called green dot but they were closed. I will try again tomorrow to ease my mind.

            I just feel stupid bc I got the wrong prepaid (should have been Netspend)

              I had a return of 12k last year on hr block card went on fine and this years 14 and change

                What is the maximum balance I can have on my Card?
                The maximum balance is $2,500. We, in our sole discretion, may allow balances in excess of these limits if the Card is loaded through direct deposit.
