Prediciton of earliest PATHers deposits. Comment with your last years File – DDD

I come here every year to chase the almighty tax refund dollar. Every year there are a lot of the same questions and worries haha. The “right” answer always vary. Always.

So I was going back through last years forum trying to figure out when the first PATHers deposits hit and it looks like that first wave was on February 15th for a small amount of people, and the first big wave of PATH refunds were 2.23 (which is when I got mine)

So I am wondering if we will see the same things this year.

When did you file last year and when did you finally get your money?

Last year I filed around 1/19-1/20….accepted on 1/23. Updated to path a week later. Stayed on path until 2/18 DDD in my account 2/23/17.
Processing date said 02/13/2017 Cycle code 20170405

This year filed 1/19 accepted 1/22. Updated to PATH 1/27. Processing date 2/12/2018 Cycle code 20180405…so I’m hoping for a update tonight, but I think I will get one on 2/17 with a DDD of 2/22……

Last year I filed 1/18. Received DD 2/23. Had no bars this year (just tax topic 152) and got my full transcript this morning with cycle date 20180605. I do not have code 846 but have a feeling that is because of Path Act.

Last Year I got 2/23 ddd and filed 2/1, accepted 2/4.

This year I filed 1/22, accepted 1/23 and no DDD as of yet just the Path message which I updated to on 2/3.

Anyone with a cycle date 0705 for this year?

Last year DD was sent 2/15 for some reason it wouldn’t load to my American Express Serve card and Jackson Hewitt called me 2/17/17 that morning to pick up a check.
I’m hoping to have my money again around the same time.

I filed super early last year, accepted the day IRS opened and got my refund 2/23. Hoping that we all get a nice update Saturday with some early DDD !

I filed the 22nd my efile history says it was accepted by the irs the 23rd. I had one bar on wmr the 24th then updated to PATH and tax topic 152 that saturday…. been stuck there ever since but now when I check TT it says transmitted date the 29th and when I click on details it says I filed the 22nd and it says I was accepted the 23rd and my estimated DDD is the 13th…. What exactly does this mean? Was my refund accepted in the test batch? Has it already been processed or even approved?

Last year, the processing date on my transcript was 2/27. WMR updated on 2/18 with a DDD of 2/23, and that is the date I got my refund. This year, the processing date is 2/19, so I think it will come before that, but either way, I believe it will be here this month. I think some weekly people will see an update on the 10th for a mid-Feb DDD since that is when they are supposed to start rolling out, and I think more people will see WMR and/or transcripts update on 2/17 for a DDD for the following week.

@Unicorn Kisses how did you get your refund last year before tax season started? Rest batches don’t get their refunds until tax season officially starts, even if it’s a few days later.

I Filed 1/29/17 last year and my ddd was 2/22 at 3pm to be exact lol

I am here every year also……giving myself a headache!!! LOL!!! I was thinking that some of us pathers would get it back as soon as next week. Wishful thinking!! Fingers crossed!!! Give us a break IRS!!! Do your jobs later in the year and audit those people who messed up and they’ll know not to do it the following year!! If mines is not here next week, I hope that one of my cousins is…..so I can borrow from them until I get mine!! LOL!!!

Last year I did have EIC and filed 01/13/2017. I received my refund on 01/22/2017
