Please post if you already received your id verification letter so those of us that are waiting can know when to expect it!!

  You have to receive a letter so you have a certain code from it before you can verify.

  My son had to ID Verify last year but he had an option to do it online under the IRS website through his account. He didn’t have to wait on a letter. Are they doing it differently this year?

  Checked on my tax account online and there wasn’t a letter sent, so I requested another one. We’ll see if I actually get one this week. My guess is they will start sending after the 21 days, but I need mine *now* . Got no time to wait months for my refund.
  I’m going to calculate how much exactly I need to pay a year and have that taken out of my pay. No more giving the government my hard earned money to sit on. It’s not like they give us interest on it every year for overtaxing us.
