I had that issue along with others. Some people resubmitted there return using the same software and got accepted. I had no such luck and ended up re-fileing with freetaxusa and was accepted in ten minutes. 8 days is way to long in my opinion.

I filed yesterday 2/7 got the TT email saying accepted but not showing up on IRS site. Helped someone file about 30 mins after mine through TT is already showing up on the IRS site.

We’ve been weeklies for as long as I can remember. We filed with TT 1/24 and it got accepted 1/25. Sill no update other than tax topic 152 on WMR.

Well after 3 days I finally got the email that my return was rejected something with the AGI not being correct and I didnt file last year so I guessed it would be 0 ans resubmitted it and waiting…

Congrats to those who kept submitting and pushing there return through. Time is money. The sooner you get accepted the sooner you get a refund. Im a week behind because tax act didnt submit my return. I refiled with freetaxusa and was accepted in 10 minutes.

@Tina I didn’t change anything either just re efiled. And I think if you efile with someone else that may cause a red flag because one is obviously going to be rejected. With all of the extra precautions, I didn’t want to increase the chances of getting pulled to ID verify. Please keep us updated.

I’m not sure how you all are re-filing, I just tried and re-paid my fees, then it was bumped back as the first one is still in pending.

I’m not sure what happens when you file with someone else a second time. Taxact told me yesterday that all it does when you file again is change the date that it was submitted. I EFiled three times and on the third time it was accepted immediately. I didn’t change anything on them just efiled again.

I hope not. I did see something online stating that you are able to make changes to a return and re efile as long as it wasn’t already accepted. I think as long as you resubmit with the same company you had originally used, you should be fine. But we shall see. I will definitely update on my end. I’m a pather, so I don’t anticipate much change soon.

Taxact finaly tried to submit my refefund today a week )later and it was just rejected because I already efiled.

Are you not afraid of being flagged or your taxes being messed up because they have been submitted twice, if you resubmit them?

I refiled through turbotax and already accepted with one bar on wmr website. If you used tax act and still pending refile asap.

I filed with taxact jan 26th and was still pending last night. I finally re-filed last night jan 31st with freetaxusa.come and was accepted 10 minutes later. The heck with taxact. Freetaxusa saved me just under a hundred bucks and im self employed.

According to HRBlock, acceptance should be within 24 hours yet I am past the 72 hour mark and still sitting in limbo, awaiting my pending to change to accepted. UGGHHH!!!!
