Here’s my story I filed Feb 28th got a CP05 letter Dated for Mar 9th. Selected for “Random” review. Here’s the thing it’s not Random! I waited for a update but after a month I went ahead and got a TA. She informed me that my employer didn’t report my wages to IRS, so I had to fax over my W2 and last two paystubs. I don’t get why the IRS didn’t just tell me they needed to verify my income! Damn parasites take our money but don’t want to give it back. Long story short on May 4th just one week after getting a TA and faxing over my information I got a DDD for May 25th! I’m hoping to get it earlier but knowing the IRS they are going to keep it until the 25th. Please get a TA they’re the only ones who can get ahold of the IRS in these times they will help and get you you’re money.
