On 2/18 wmr updated to the offset message and has stayed there I have called the offset line and it says no offset found, I just tried calling the IRS and I can’t get a real person. I’m freaking out I don’t owe any type of debt that it says it can be taken for and I have never had any issues with my refund in 20 years. The only thing I can think is I got unemployment during the pandemic but can they make me pay that back? Has anyone had this problem?it’s a very small refund but I really need my money this has been a tough year for me. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry I don’t know how to answer you guys individually so I’ll answer both questions here. I’ve never received anything saying they overpaid me and I never had a overpayment show up on my pua. I did option 1 on offset line should I do option 2? Thank you for the help I don’t know what to do.

Can you try to call another line to reach someone? I had unemployment during the pandemic and you don’t have to pay it back unless they overpaid you.
