Hello everyone to speak with a live IRS agent call 1800-829-1040 and then press #1 for English then press #5 for personal / business as it relates to the healthcare law then press #3 and then you will be transferred over to a live agent within 15 to 35 minutes or less

What phone number/prompts/extension are people calling/using to check on the 4464C AFTER the 60 day wait period is up?

I called the Tax Advocates who informed me that I am not to call them. I called the 800 829 1040 and the prompts to check my refund sent me to an automated “check” of “still processing” and then hung up; the other prompts were business or personal and business as it relates to health care. I’m just trying to call a number and wait in the right queue. Instead, I call a number and pissed off IRS rep tells me I’ve called the wrong number and that I should call the number on the page (800 829 1040)–and it’s on me, my fault, instead of their wacky phone system. It’s like navigating a hedge maze.

Hopefully they are paying us interest, you know, like we’d have to if we didn’t have their money in on time.
