That makes no sense…I will never have fees taken out again. Probably won’t do any good but imma give them hell if my money is not in my account on 2/10.

I called SBTPG (the company TT uses to process your tax fee’s) they said they probably wont receive the refund until the 10th and then send it to your bank 1-2 business days later. If this is the case, then I’m never EVER using TT again. This is absolutely ridiculous. They better send me my money as soon as they get it. I can understand a business day or so, but it makes no sense that the processing center hasn’t gotten their money yet and other people with prepaid cards have gotten theirs. You would think the processing center would already have taken their bull shit fee’s out of my refund already, but, NOPE! They haven’t received shit yet according to them. So freaking frustrating man.

I have a ddd of 2/10 as well going into my personal checking account. How does it work when the funds have to go through SBBT? I have been seeing that some people had a ddd of 2/3 and SBBT still has not received their funds. I am a little confused because this is my first year having fees take out.

Nope! Ddd 2/10 and I bank with chase and nothing yet has shown in my account… This the first year where it took over 15 days to get my money from when I filed! Never did the wmr update or follow up really because it never took this long to get my money and I been with Chase for over 5 yrs… So this year with it taking so long, I was a little concern with everything. But I wouldn’t stress it, if they gave you a Ddd… We should be getting our money very soon. Remember they say if you don’t receive it by the 15 then call your bank… I know we all need/want our money! But it hasn’t reach the deadline! So they saying it can take time for the bank to receive and released funds. And as much as we want to compare ourselves to others about when others receive their money, to me it seems like their is no type of order. Because too I thought everyone with the Ddd 2/10 who has netspend got their money, some ppl who have netspend didn’t receive theirs either yet. And no I’m not saying its a plus or not to have a prepaid card… The fact of the matter is, we really don’t know. It can possibly be so… But what we do know is the irs is backup this year. So don’t go crazy trying to figure out the logic behind it all… Just please think positive for those who are still waiting!!! You have a Ddd… It’s been approved…. So it should be coming soon! And no I’m not trying to knock anybody who is concern… This is just message to help calm… Best to all!!!

@Pending: I guess anything is possible. But if you check WMR and it says they are sending an amount, that is what they are sending. They will not say they are sending $5000, and only send $3500 because of pending verification of EIC. This is why people get audited. Once the IRS figures out you lied to them when your employers all send in your W-2s, and you did not deserve the EIC, they will say you owe them, and then the joke is on you because now you owe them money you spent already plus interest.

To put it lightly, this is not something the IRS checks right now. They are more worried about ID verification and that they are sending refunds to actual US citizens and that dependent SSN numbers match up and not being double used, and so on.

When I say “you” I do not mean YOU. Just a choice of words when talking about people in general. =)

                    Pending

I too have a personal checking account, and have never gotten it early. It always release on the DD date. I have, however, called them today to make sure that it is pending for the amount of my refund, and they said that it is. The reason I say ” the amount of my refund” is because I have seen on other threads where some people are not getting their full amount. Just the amount that they paid in, and that they are having to verify for EIC and Child Tax Credit. Hope this helps.

@wish it was 2/10/16: It is not that the IRS rewards anyone for having anything. It is the way te banking system works. Traditional banks wait to ensure funds are actually available and such before sending it their customers bank. Most banks actually receive the DDs a day or 2 early, but do not process them into accounts until the day it is said to release on.

It is kinda like sending a post dated check.

these prepaid cards are the ones that release the funds when they receive them thus why people get them a day or 2 early. If you just had to have your money 12 hours sooner, I am sure you could call your bank, see if they see the pending deposit and pester them to release it. Maybe they will, maybe they will not.

                        Automatic

That would be in poor taste for them to look at it like that:

“You would think the IRS would reward those who can actually KEEP a checking account through a real bank and deposit our money sooner. Makes me wanna open a pre paid just so i can get my money sooner!!!
                          Happy waiting to all!”

We bank at Wells Fargo as well. Have a DD for the 10th and nothing yet. I keep checking though… Not as often as I blew up my WMR bar page but…Oh, and we have NEVER gotten our refund early. It’s always been deposited on the dd day specified.

Yeah i have never received mine early either and normally it is the day they say.. but I have seen a ton of posts of all these people getting theirs early so i was curious if anyone that has it being deposited into a checking account, had received theirs yet.

I’m using my personal account with Wells Fargo, I have yet to receive anything though. For the past 2 years I never received it early, funds were released the ddd.
