So might mean that “is being” people that can’t access transcripts online due to their whole processing of making an online account could very well have a 2/22 DD and WMR has just not updated yet.

Here is my prediction… people with 2/22 DDD already updated on WMR will start seeing funds beginning 2/20.
The “is being” possee will update with dates during the next WMR update. These dates will be 2/22 through 2/27, with funds as early as 2/20 as well.

1541 group will update too. A few remainders will probably be calling the IRS Tuesday.

60 to 75% of people that ALREADY HAVE deposit dates of 2/22 Will continue to check WMR and get nervous when they get locked out from checking too many times.

My WMR removes the path message, shows the processing message, no bars, but my refund amount is showing again. I’m assuming whenever it updates next it will bring our bars back with the DDD that is the same date next to the 846 code on our transcripts

I should clarify – neither of them used their chime accounts for tax refunds. Wife uses it for her Etsy store and brother for his regular direct deposit paychecks

I don’t trust Chime one bit. My wife and brother both have them and they have experienced some strange things with them putting holds on cards randomly and in one instance closed my brothers card without warning and sent him a check for his balance. They haven’t really done anything to scam anyone necessarily but they seem a little unstable from what I’ve seen.

Last year, my taxes were accepted on Feb 6 and I had EITC, I got my refund on Feb 16th. Not sure if it makes a difference but I had it DD onto my Chime card (which is one of the one’s that state you can get your pay 2 days early.

First year filing MFJ with EITC and ACTC. I have been told several different things in the process of 1) trying to find out how much if any will be offset from our return 2) weather or not our status (PATH) would be updated on WMR prior to the 2/15 hold date for PATH or if I’m just a sitting duck. The TOPS line only says theres 2 things my husband MAY be offset, I ordered transcripts by mail on 02/05 but of course we have 0 credit cards and 0 loans so I can only get them by mail, dont have them yet so I have no clue whats on it, once i ordered the 2018 transcript it just popped up saying theyve received the order…..does anyone have any advice??? I was locked out of WMR all day today. Late last night mine went from “You must wait 24 hours after filing blah blah blah…..tax topic 152” to 1 bar saying we’ve received your return and are processing it.

So I talked to someone from Jackson Hewitt yesterday and today and they both confirmed my return had been accepted and processed and is waiting in the IRS Bank to be disbursed!!!

So I havent seen a “Path Message” one WMR but I’m hoping maybe I’ll get a deposit before an update??? I just checked WMR now and it’s still the same as last night. But it DID technically update for me yesterday!

I filed 1/30 and it was accepted within minutes…the IRS page showed 1 bar for like a week and then everything went away and the darn PATH message appeared. I’m so mad!!! Why in the world do they think that people with the earned income credit and/or child credit don’t need their money ASAP?! So many of us count on our tax refund…that’s why we file right away! Also, they said the reason for this delay is to prevent fraud, but haven’t they always said the best way to prevent fraud is to file early/ASAP?! So how in their brains does it make sense to hold everything and make us wait “in order to prevent fraud”?! I want my money and I’m not happy about this delay! It will feel super great to see anything other than the PATH message lol

KLH from what I have seen I have updated on Saturday and it’s once a week my wmr updates. Some people update during the week. By that I am considered a weekly.

@KLH Weekly refers to your cycle codes on your trans. Cycle code ending with 05 means that person updates weekly instead of being able to update every day. Cycle code ending in 01-04 are considered Daily(ies).

@Chris What IRS Code 9001 Really Means
The actual code tells you exactly what it means – you filed a tax return that had multiple Social Security numbers attached to it. Typically, this is a husband and wife, but it could also include children as well (you never know, adult dependents may be checking the status of the refund). When you file your tax return, you have to specify a primary taxpayer, and the spouse or children all are secondary.

If you login to Where’s My Refund or on the IRS App and try to use the secondary Social Security number, you’re going to get this error message.

Having code 9001 is not an audit, and it shouldn’t concern taxpayers. It just means there was an attempt to access return or refund results using the wrong Social Security number or TIN.
