I got to see my transcripts it says processed 2/17 I was accept 1/20. But no 846? I’m a pather and filed with HR. Block. Any help? Thanks
-

Checked my transcript today and processing date of 2/24. Filed and accepted Jan 30/31. I’m a Pather to which the hold notice was gone over the last weekend. See the dollar amount as negative. Does the process date mean they will send out the funds so should i expect direct deposit Wednesday 2/26?
-
February 18, 2020 at 1:00 pm #4356627Will
@Kacey n Delaney
Yes mine have always been the same way. Last year my processing date was Feb 11, 2019 and I got my deposit on Friday Feb 22, 2019. This year my processing date is Feb 10,2020 so I hope that means I should have my deposit by this Friday Feb 21,2020. I know I am a weekly because of my cycle code. Last year my cycle code was 20190405 and this year it is the same exact way just the year changed. My cycle code this year is 20200405
-
February 18, 2020 at 10:36 am #4356404kacey n delaney
Do the processing dates change when the deposit is made? Has anyone kept track based on previous year. Because in years past my deposit is made typically 10 day after my “processing date”. If thats the case i wont get my refund till march and i have always filed around the same time and got it near the 28th?

I filed on 1/10/20 and accepted on 1/15/20. Went to processing and then PATH act message up until Sunday morning 2/16 when it went back to being processed. Was able to see account transcript and it shows cycle code 20200405 with processing date of 2/10/20. I have all the codes just not showing the 846 code refund issued. Does this mean I should be updating to a DDD one day this week? I checked my past years and it seems I have always shown a Monday processing date, for example last year I showed processing 2/11/19 and got my deposit on 2/22/19. It looks like once my processing date is shown the week after I show a deposit date and funds hit my bank account. I also used H & R block and chose their emerald card.

February 16, 2020 at 8:05 pm #4353672Spre
Just normal Codes as of now. But reviewing previous trans, it usually updates by your processing date, IE last year I updated with 570 right on 2/25, but 2 years ago i got an 846 on my processing date of 2/24 and a dd on 2/26.
also, This year it looks like metroPCS is an acceptable mobile carrier, as i was able to sign up for my account finally using it(unlike the last 2 years and I have had to get a paper trans)
Just an FYI

@birdbrain not necessarily. Last year I had a processing date of 2/29 and received my deposit 2/22. The year before that I had processing date of 2/10 and a deposit 2/23. This year I’m 2/17

It’s annoying people updated yesterday and today to PATH on the day path was to be lifted…..
-
February 16, 2020 at 1:22 am #4352527
So I’ve never posted here so forgive me if this has been asked. I filed somewhere around January 20th, accepted in January 27th. I don’t know what day it went to the PATH message but it’s been on that forever it seems. I just checked and the status changed from path to “We have received your refund and it is being processed” there’s no code or anything. It shows my filing status and last 4 of my social. Is this usually a good sign or bad? Lol Hoping to move soon and need my refund.

Are there any PATHers out there that DON’T have the PATH message??? Is it possible to never go to PATH? I filed and was accepted on 2/2 and updated to 1 bar on WMR on 2/3 with tax topic 152 and it has remained that way this whole time. I didn’t think about looking at transcripts until today so I don’t know when they updated but I am able to access my Account transcript with all correct amounts filled in with a cycle code 20200705 and 3/2/20 date with codes 150, 806, and 766. From my understanding that is all good but I’m SUPER worried because I haven’t updated to PATH on WMR and I did every year before this and tomorrow is the 15th! Have there been people before that never updated to PATH? Can anyone help PLEASE???

Im looking back at last years transcripts and my cycle last year was 20190605 with a processing date of 2-25. This year the cycle is exactly the same except the year in front of it changed to the current year 20200605. My processing date last year was 2/25 but my ddd was 2/27 and I received my refund on my NetSpend card 2/24 around 6 pm. Netspend deposits up to two days early. Certain prepaid cards will release your refund early once they have received note your refund is coming. This year my processing date is the 24th. I’m thinking the irs issues our refund date on our processing date and sends note to banks. I remember last year everyone started getting their refunds early because they had a Netspend card, Walmart card, or a rush card. I’m thinking those with processing dates of 2/17 will receive a ddd of 2/19 but might receive it on 2/15 if you have netspend, rush, Walmart, or another card that deposits early. I remember people we’re getting refunds early last year on 2/15. Those with a 2/24 processing date receive probably receive refunds 2/26 which is Wednesday but can get it a few days earlier if you have a card that releases early. Please don’t curse me out or respond negatively this is just my opinion. This forum has been crazy the last few years but this year seems to be moving smoothly so far.

Does the processing date mean something regarding when we should receive our refund? -
February 13, 2020 at 10:56 am #4348529Tara
@jackie250 it says by the 22nd so my interpretation is that all the updates will be done by then not that they will start on that day…but i could be wrong but that’s what i got from it
-
February 13, 2020 at 10:50 am #4348520Tara
@aprilj that is a generic message honestly i have been path every year and have never had to wait until march for a deposit even with the shutdown last year…if you read the rest it says that date to allow for banks processing times because every bank is different
-
February 13, 2020 at 10:43 am #4348512AprilJ
Per IRS Twitter this morning
‘If you’ve claimed #EITC or ACTC, the law requires #IRS to hold the tax refund. The #IRS “Where’s my refund” will update for these filers by Feb. 22. Barring other issues, most taxpayers should get these refunds by the first week of March. http://www.irs.gov/refunds” -
February 13, 2020 at 10:13 am #4348470Taxprep22
@tiredofchecking. It necessarily true. That is a generic message posted every year to prevent thousands of taxpayers from flooding their phone lines on February 15th. Every year there are some who update before that date, depending on their individual return and when they filed. Last year it said the 27th. I personally received my refund on 2/21, as did many of my clients. The only thing the PATh act actually states is that refunds cannot be released before 2/15. It doesn’t prohibit updates, processing, etc.

WMR on IRS.gov and the IRS2Go app will be updated with projected deposit dates for most early EITC/ACTC refund filers by February 22. So EITC /ACTC filers will not see an update to their refund status for several days after Feb. 15.
The IRS, tax preparers and tax software will not have additional information on refund dates, so these filers should not contact or call about refunds before the end of February.

nothin yet. have transcripts, all but my wage transcript. Once that one updates, usually that’s a signal that the refund is pretty imminent.

IMHO- By and Until mean totally different things. For instance, if I tell you I will get you something by Wednesday, that means up to including that day. If I tell you I can’t get you something until Wednesday, don’t expect it before then. So, when I read that the IRS says they’ll have updates/DDD by 2/22, it could be any day before and on that day. We all know that having the PATH means that we will see no DD until mid February, that date has been open to interpretation all along, I totally agree with other posters that technically, mid February is the 14th, others are convinced that nothing will happen until the 15th. There will possibly be a mass update overnight Friday the 14th for Saturday the 15th, given that these things happen on a weekend, and a holiday weekend at that, I wouldn’t expect to see the first DD until at least Tuesday the 18th. I don’t think the standard acceptance that the IRS only deposits on Wednesdays is accurate. We have gotten ours on random days of the week, just never a Monday. The wait is almost over, the last week to 10 days are the hardest. Provided there are no issues with your return, I anticipate deposits to start dropping next week.

this was on IRS website
If you’ve claimed #EITC or ACTC, the law requires #IRS to hold the tax refund. The #IRS “Where’s my refund” will update for these filers by Feb. 22. Barring other issues, most taxpayers should get these refunds by the first week of March. https://t.co/PFiedQsvmp pic.twitter.com/igrY52oWXe

i filed 2/1
accepted same day
path message 2/8 and has been on there since.
my transcripts were available before wmr changed.
my processing date is Feb 25, 2020
i usually get mines the 22nd every year so hopefully either that or the 27th. im sure we will get a mass update Saturday or sunday. i am a weekly, i update only on saturdays every year so i hoping at midnight on the 15th we all should know something. Id say check your transcripts to make sure no new codes are added and check your wmr to make sure nothing changes. like code 151 or 203 -

@elled6 Your return won’t show as filed until they receive the 1095A and 8962. Could be a few weeks, especially if you mailed it. Faxing is quicker.
