      Anyone update to PATH last year, but wasn’t actually approved or IRS asked for more info after? I finally updated to the PATH message, but concerned about approval status since I filed differently this year than any other year.

          More than likely you are approved if you updated to path, esp if your transcripts are complete and just waiting on the 846 code. if they was a problem with your return a code would pop up on wmr. I see people with 570, 1541, and other codes already. You will know when your return is about to be approved when your path status changes from that screen to the your return is being processed screed. Bars might disappear as well, just keep that in mind. At that stage, your transcript should have the 846 code on it.

            Just went to check wmr and it says it’s down I don’t get it this isn’t a down time

              There another thread here where someone says path does = approved. I don’t know if true or not

                I’m just wondering (hoping) if PATH =approved or if you update to path no matter what if you have EIC or one of the other credits.
