Path question please answer!

Ok my question is. Just because you file e.i.c does that automatically put you as a pattern? I’m so confused on this part. I haven’t updated this year and have in the past. Can someone please explain this to me!

  Ok so this just means I get to wait forever to see what this year’s problem is gonna be lol. I haven’t got the path message yet. And no changes on my wmr. Can’t get into transcripts. This wait is always crazy for me.

  Hi, @Janel120. My first year updating to path. I filed 2/2-3. Updated to path 2/5. So I am fully processed and waiting on did? Have never processed that fast. I know, I usually am waiting the full 21 days.

  Yes if you receive the EIC credit you will have to wait until the 15th of this month when the Path lifts. If you have the message about the path on the Wmr, then you are fully process and waiting on your refund date once the path is lifted. Hope this helps.
