Path message

Does the path message indicate that they are processing it or it’s already processed. I filed super early accepted 1/24 or something.

  That’s all I was wondering if they did or not I understand I gotta wait till 15th or after I was just curious if that message means it’s ready and waiting till then or if they will get started working on it after the 15th

  Nobody really knows but if you are PATH, it doesn’t really matter. The IRS could have processed your return the day they accepted it but you won’t see your refund till probably the week after the 15th.

  I have never updated to the path message till after my return shows it has originally processed on my transcripts, granted that’s not ALWAYS an all clear as everything looked good at first on mine last year but I wound up with my first ever audit… that they just finished and released my return from last year scheduled DD for the 9th.
