There’s a ton of misinformation going around here. Here’s some info that may help.
The law does not specifically mention or call out a specific date, rather uses the term “mid-Feb”. This means anytime after the second week of Feb.
Returns are issued immediately, unless you have an issue, refunds will immediately begin to go out. Again, depending on your place in line depends on your actual DDD.
If you are PATH, you nor anyone else will get your return before the block is lifted. Doesn’t matter if you filed and got excepted early.
SBTPG does not slow up your return for longer than a few hours. Use then all the time and always get on or before my DDD.
