paper check because your bank rejected dd

Have a paper check coming after bank card rejected due to deposit limit on prepaid card. Was mailed on time like wmr said. Expecting by Fri but hoping for tomorrow or wed. Comment her if your expecting a paper check by mail or want to know how it went down. I filed 1/7 !!

I had a DDD sent out on Feb 10th per the WMR website. Kept checking bank account and it wasn’t there. I kept calling bank asking questions and later found out both names on the acct had the same SSN, I’m the primary holder and the SSN they had on file at bank didn’t match the one on refund check so I’m sure it was rejected. They claim it was some glitch that recorded our info twice. My question is how long does it take for the WMR site to update and let me know they’ve received the check back & give me a mail date?

@Anna: My Bluebird card rejected our refund because my husband was listed first on our return, and because the Bluebird account was in my name. That was all. For our case, My social had to come first on the return in order to use my account, or his social first + his bank account. That’s all.

I’m from California and received my check today (shipped from Pennsylvania), so it only took five days (including the holiday weekend). The IRS / Treasury / UPS were all totally on the ball. I’m shocked, and very happy about that!

Were any of you guys rejected because your primary tax payer wasn’t the primary on the prepaid card or bank? I have Walmart card and scared they will reject my refund because I am the primary he is the secondary

Aye, you know my story. Filed 01/06, accepted 01/12, bank rejected and sent back funds, received a mail date of 02/12, treasury confirmed that same day the check went out. I’ll keep you posted.

@tamika…..me too !! Hopefully for tomorrow but prepared for friday. Just glad it’s finally coming! I filed on 1/7 …it’s been hell this year. Lol

Here’s my story ashley…might give u an idea. Mine was rejected and sent back right away on 2/5. Wmr updated and stated it would be sent by 2/12. Wmr updated 2/13 with 3 bars saying it was sent on 2/12. On time so that’s good. I’m expecting it wed or at latest Fri this week. They always say 4 weeks. But if the only issue was a rejected dd then it doesn’t take super long usually. :) if Wmr says his was sent and you have 3 bars…expect it 3-5 days. ;) that’s if it’s coming to your address. If you used a preparer it will be printed by them and they will call u to go pick it up.

Husbands ddd was 2/12 and is showing it is being mailed now ?? I’m guessing it was rejected how long does it usually take until it comes in the mail kind of scared in the process of moving

Im expecting a paper check as well. Wmr says mine was sent out feb 12th. Hopefully we will get them tomorrow or wednesday!
