Paper check address!!

Okay so, I am so beyon frustrated …

My accountant not only messed up by not including my direct deposit info on my tax forms but she also filed my taxes under my old address!! But wait there is more, she also LIED and said she fixed the address but now that my check has been mailed (2/24) I called the treasury & she in fact did not fix it to my current address.

Here’s my question:

I have filed a address forward request about 2 weeks ago as soon as I found out about this whole problem to be proactive but I’m concerned now because my state was sent (2/18) and my federal was sent (2/24) and I requested my transcript (2/15) and nothing … Is that normal? Did I handle this correctly? Is there anything more I can do? Any advice period ? Much appreciated!

If I already submitted a forward will the hold still work?

I actually called the post office already and a hold wasn’t possible bc my name isn’t on the address anymore but the man said it would be able to be forwarded.. Should I call again?

They wont be able to forward it but you can do a hold mail request at your old address and pick your mail up.
