So I filed on 01/04 accepted on 01/12 everyday up until now( I just check wmr) I have had one bar . When I just checked it is saying something about it is being processed and a date will be given when available. Does this mean I should be getting my dd soon? This is the first time since I was accepted that I have gotten this message. Please help, I’m getting frustrated .

                delayed

you were accepted on the 12th right?
So if the irs usually issues returns within 21 days from being accepted they are behind. Your 21 days would be February 2nd which is tomorrow. the system will update Wednesday and Friday after midnight. Unless there is a problem with your refund I bet you will have a ddd tonight after midnight or Friday after midnight and you will have a ddd. I have seen people not even update on wmr and refunds just pop up on sbtpg or in their bank accounts. Try ordering your return transcript everyday after midnight if it’s available your done processing you will know a ddd is on its way.

They don’t want people calling them so they will push those refund ddd by the 21 day unless there was a problem. So you might not get it by the 21 day but you will at least have a ddd date by then.

Last year I got the same thing, I got no bars with no tax topic and I was audited. This year I have no bars and a tax topic, from what I’ve read and experienced if you have no tax topic then it usually means an audit.

                      Pavi,

I also filed on 1/4 and was accepted on 1/12 with TurboTax…. when I logged into WMR this morning it said the same thing for me. My bars also disappeared… so hopefully it just means we are updating

It simply means you were in a dead cycle and awaiting a resync into a new cycle code. You’re delayed, nothing more nothing less.

I’ve gotten strange messages in the past when I checked WMR more than once a day. They track when the website is checked or you call in. I have learned to check once, about noon.

You have not been pulled for review just check Wednesday and Saturday thats when WMR updates.
In 2015 alot of ppl got delayed I was one of them
The “we have received your return and it is being processed” is just a generic message they are still working on it.

@pavi I had that same message back in 2015 and my stuff was correct as well. I was pulled for a manual review. I had filed in 01/15 and did not end up getting my refund until 04/15. That was WITH a tax advocate. No it does not cost you to get a tax advocate. You will have to qualify however. Here is a link on general information about qualifying:
                                      https://taxpayeradvocate.irs.gov/about-us/learn-more-eligibility
Like I said I have EXPERIENCE with having got that message myself. It may mean nothing for you at all but as I stated previously MOST LIKELY it means it was pulled for manual review. You can always call the IRS directly and ask for more information.

No I don’t fall under the new law . I don’t file any dependents , just simply myself. I had one bar earlier today and when I last checked it gave me the we are still processing your return and a deposit date will be provided when available. Does this mean I’ll be getting my dd soon?

Do you have the EIC or ACTC? I don’t think your flagged everyone has the processing mesg. You still have one bar?

It does not mean you was pulled for review they are just backed up and you might be a weekly not to be rude but some people don’t know what they are talking about.

That is strange why would t be pulled for manual review? Does it cost for an advocate. There should be no reason my return was flagged. All my information was correct

It means that your return has been pulled for manual review MOST LIKELY. You will need to wait the full 21 days after your accepted by date and then call the IRS. Ask them why you have not received your refund yet, tell them it’s been over 21 days. After they tell you whatever reason your refund has not been gotten tell them you want a tax advocate.
